We had the good fortune of connecting with Bruce Palmore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bruce, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk-taking has been essential for me in business. If I had never taken a risk with any business endeavor that I started, I wouldn’t be in the position I am in now. I view losses not as failures, but as lessons. Everything that I have ever lost has contributed to my growth and learning. Experience is life’s best teacher.
What should our readers know about your business?
What differentiates us from other businesses is our involvement in the creative process. When it comes to printing images and embroidery, people often assume that, being a print service, we can simply take any image they provide and print it onto clothing. However, that’s not the case. For quality printing and embroidery, files need to be of a specific size and quality. We assist people with this process to ensure that the final product meets their expectations.
Reaching my current position was no easy feat. It took years of diligent work and multiple business experiences. I overcame the challenges by persisting and never giving up. The lessons I’ve learned along the way underscore that what doesn’t break you only makes you stronger, and that it’s crucial to keep pushing forward, even when faced with difficulties.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were to visit, the first place I’d take him to would be La Estrella, which serves the best Mexican food in Pasadena. After that, we’d need to explore Hollywood and the beach; one simply can’t visit California without experiencing these iconic spots. Given that California is known for its exceptional Mexican cuisine, indulging in that is a must. We might also do some water sports and relax at a few lounges.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My dad has been my number one supporter since day one. He’s never lost faith in me, even when everyone else did. My wife, brother, and mom have been very supportive of my business endeavors and have helped me grow to where I am now. My fraternity brothers and close friends have also been incredibly supportive. I appreciate all of them, and they know who they are.
