We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryan Maurice and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bryan, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I love to entertain and create. I want to change the world one film at a time.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart is my pure love for film. I’m most proud of my show One Strange Happy and my team at 2nd Team Entertainment LLC. Both are filled with hardworking and diverse individuals that, make amazing art and love what they do. I got to where I was today from almost 20 years of hard work. It was NOT an easy feat lol. I overcame my challenges by staying strong and never taking no for an answer. Some.of the lessons I’ve learned are, always be loyal and never be scared to ask for help. Don’t let anyone tell you that you CAN’T. You always CAN. I want people to know that I love to make great art for them, and I strive to change the world one film at a time.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh man Los Angeles is the best! As far as food/drinks go a start at Metro Cafe in Cuvler City for breakfast. Sweetgreen for lunch and some Jon N Vinnys for dinner. Winston’s pies is a great dessert and Wallys in Santa Monica for some great drinks. Redondo beach is a great quiet beach for relaxing. Now that things are open Universal Studios and a Dogers game will be a great way to end a great week. I love the people at Venice Beach they are always nice and creative Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents for letting me follow my dreams, my mentor Crystal Bauer-Feldman for teaching me the business side, Rose Haven (a shelter for woman and children that are victims of DV that I donate too) for giving me a cause to belive in. Members of my executive team such as Sandra/Kolby/Garry/Kiew that constantly push me to be better (not to exclude others). My fans who give me love and support to live this dream.
