We had the good fortune of connecting with Burgundy Blue Photography and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Burgundy Blue Photography, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of Burgundy Blue is the team’s devotion to and passion for each and every event, family, couple, child, and project captured. Each team member has been incredibly mindfully selected and takes pride in every opportunity given! Through the process of growing into a powerhouse team of creatives, Burgundy Blue’s quality and efficiency has advanced to even greater levels. The entire team is beyond grateful for the amazing honor that is getting to work with, capture, and preserve the sweet memories of so many wonderful clients who quickly become friends.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
At Burgundy Blue, we’ve been so incredibly grateful to grow into a team of hard working, creative individuals who all bring unique talents to the company. We (Ryan and Jay Caliendo) began as a husband and wife duo and couldn’t be more excited about how Burgundy Blue has grown to this day! The entire process has felt so organic and has flowed very smoothly. Of course with any business there are challenges and obstacles to overcome, but we have been able to work incredibly well together and with the rest of the team – it has been such a blessing! We are all passionate artists with a variety of skills and it has been such a gift to get to work alongside one another and share this experience!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
El Matador State Beach! Such beautiful, unique scenery with rock formations on the beach.. ahhh.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
(Ryan and Jay Caliendo – owners of Burgundy Blue) : We would love to recognize Lori, Jay’s mom. She so graciously stayed at our home and watched our animals for us when we were newly a couple while we adventured in an RV for 3 weeks through the Pacific Northwest! It was on that trip that we dreamt up our very first Burgundy Blue ideas!
