We had the good fortune of connecting with Carlos Demond Davis  and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carlos, what is the most important factor behind your success?
They always tend to ask me What drives you and What is the most important factor behind your success to keep going for goal after goal after goal? My answer is simple(my family) my mother and my brother are my main motivation period. 1) I want to make my Mother proud and for her to never have to work hard ever again just kick back relax and enjoy life 2) I want to be the best example possible for my younger brother so that he knows hard work pays off and to stack dream after dream after dream never be satisfied with average And of course I have other family my siblings my sisters my Granny( madear) in Alabama, my aunts and uncles, cousins, my God Daughter Dior my close friends who I won’t name cause I def won’t have enough room lol so there’s plenty of people who I make sure I’m succeeding for

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a Actor and also a Published Author (Conscious Mentality) I feel like my path to where I am now, would be a unique story and could be a great biopic of near misses. I started off as a collegiate athlete that chased pro football aspirations but never quite got there, which lead me to professional modeling and finally this world of acting, of course during all this time my writing kept me sane, and thus I’m a hybrid creator, because my life’s journey added to this combination of things.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, before covid there were so many things to see and do my gosh where do I start and how much time do I really have lol let’s see personally I’m a homebody but when I used to explore the city I managed to see quite a few places like Pantages to check out a play, I was able to hit up Larchmont to eat Salt&Straw ice cream, but I’m a sucker for the food trucks around town my favorite one of late has been BachiYaki I’d also take them to the beach Zuma is my favorite but I will hit up Santa Monica because it’s a must but back to LA I love Hollywood the strip is just cool to see the walk of fame and there’s Shake Shack so yes there’s soooo many food options and things to see i didn’t even get to the Getty Museum or Staples in DTLA you couldn’t possibly see it all in a day or a week or even a month honestly Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
It’s my Faith and my Trust in God. My mother and my brother are my main motivation period.

1) I want to make my Mother proud and for her to never have to work hard ever again just kick back relax and enjoy life

2) I want to be the best example possible for my younger brother so that he knows hard work pays off and to stack dream after dream after dream never be satisfied with average And of course I have other family, my sisters,my Granny( madear) in Alabama, my aunts and uncles, cousins and their kids, my God Daughter Dior my close friends who I won’t name because I def won’t have enough room lol so there’s plenty of people who I make sure I’m succeeding for
