Meet Carolina Navarro | Owner, Founder & Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Carolina Navarro and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carolina, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Creativity has always been a big part of my life, thanks to my mom. She was a talented seamstress who not only made beautiful dresses and costumes for me but even created outfits for my Barbie dolls. She was the one who inspired my art projects at school, always making sure I had the tools and encouragement to bring my ideas to life. Growing up in that environment shaped the way I see creativity—not just as an outlet, but as a way to make moments special and meaningful.
That love for creativity, combined with my passion for events, made starting my own business feel like a natural step. My background in hospitality gave me a firsthand look at how impactful great experiences can be, and I knew I wanted to create something that left a lasting impression.
With my Photo Booth business, I strive to go beyond just capturing photos—I want to create immersive, interactive experiences that bring people together and turn moments into lifelong memories. Every event is a unique story, and I’m honored to help tell it in a way that’s fun, engaging, and unforgettable. Entrepreneurship has been an exciting journey but seeing the joy my work brings to people makes it all worth it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My work is all about creating memorable experiences. What sets me apart is the personal touch and care I put into every detail, ensuring that each design complements the event’s unique vibe and theme. I don’t just offer a service—I create a personalized experience that enhances the celebration and leaves guests with something special to remember.
I’m most proud of the connections I’ve made and the feedback I receive from my clients. For example, I received a message that truly touched me: “I’m really so pleased to have met you and greatly appreciate all of the care and detail you put into your business. You can tell you’re passionate about it and capturing these momentous moments for your clients. I for one recognize and very much appreciate that. Thanks for being wonderful you.” This kind of feedback is a reminder of why I do what I do—to create moments that are meaningful and memorable for my clients.
Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. It’s been a journey of overcoming challenges, learning new skills, and continually growing as a business owner. Over the years, I’ve faced my share of challenges, and there have been times when people told me to give up and go get a “normal” job like everyone else. But I stuck it through, and now, I have all these amazing people wanting me to be a part of their events. It wasn’t easy, but it’s the love and passion for what I do that has kept me going, and I’m incredibly proud of where I am today.
The lessons I’ve learned are all about resilience, adaptability, and the importance of truly caring about the work you do. Being authentic and passionate has been key in building my brand, and it’s something I carry with me every day.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that it’s built on passion and creativity. My goal is to provide my clients with an experience that goes beyond just a service. I want to help them celebrate their most important moments in a way that’s personal, unique, and unforgettable. It’s about creating something special that they’ll cherish for years to come, making their event even more memorable, and adding that extra touch that makes all the difference.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For this California girl, born and raised, Disneyland has always been my happy place since I was a little girl. But now that I’ve made Santa Clarita my home, and with Six Flags right down the street from me, I’d definitely make time to hit a few coasters.
After all the thrills, we’d wrap up the day with a stop at In-N-Out for a burger and animal fries.
The places I frequent most these days are Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill, The Local Pub & Grill, and, of course, I’ve got to have my Starbucks—I’m lucky there’s one everywhere here! I can’t forget about Pho Viet, my go-to spot for some amazing pho, but my favorite dish is their chicken stir fry. It reminds me of a dish my mom used to make when I was a kid.
Santa Clarita has great trails, so I’d definitely recommend taking a stroll or hike. For more dining options I’d check out the Valencia Town Center or Main Street in Downtown Newhall.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my mom, Beatriz, whose creativity and unwavering support laid the foundation for everything I do. Not only did she inspire my passion for creating, but she also supported me from the very beginning with my idea to start this business. As a seamstress, she helped me get started by making my first three sequined backdrops, which played an important role in bringing my vision to life. Her belief in my abilities has always been my driving force.
I also owe a huge thank you to my mentors in the Photo Booth industry. Their invaluable insights, advice, and encouragement have helped me navigate the challenges of running my own business, and I’m grateful for the sense of community and collaboration that exists within this industry.
A special shoutout goes to my daughters, Emily, Marissa, and Bella. Emily and Marissa’s hard work and dedication help me take on as many events as I do, and my toddler Bella is my daily fuel—her energy and joy motivate me to keep pushing forward and making my dreams a reality.
Lastly, I want to recognize Nedesin, Bella’s father, whose years of experience in sales have greatly contributed to my growth. He’s shared many of his successful strategies with me, helping me improve my sales approach and move beyond my comfort zone.
