We had the good fortune of connecting with Case Bargé and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Case, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk taking has played a huge part in my success today. At times I can be very indecisive when it comes to creating, and I’ve noticed the times I step outside of my comfort zone and do something that’s not the “norm” or what I’m use to doing, it usually has the best result. I’ve out grown a lot fears by taking risk. Not just in creating but in real life as well.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I wasn’t very vocal growing up, I kept to myself. Overtime I found freedom in expressing my emotions through poetry. Writing poetry helped me express my feelings and connect with others in a way I felt was more relatable. I describe my music as “lyric expression”, heavily influenced by hip-hop, Jazz, blues and r&b. When it comes to creating I get most of my inspiration from everyday life.
Fashion is also another form of expression for me. I launched the first collection for my brand Res!lience™️ rresilience.co on my birthday a few weeks ago. I’m looking forward to inspiring/motivating innovation and forward thinking.
We all embody the essence of “Resilience” in some form.

Patients & Grace
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would definitely stop by Leimert Park, always good vibes and high energy in Leimert. Go to the beach, I can always find peace at the beach, maybe go for a hike. Stop by “Nic’s” on Beverly for a bite. I love to meet new people, and I’m open to new experiences.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m grateful for every soul that I encounter on this journey. I’ve grown to value the connections I make with others much more than any form of currency. Thank you to everyone who has shown their support and love!
