We had the good fortune of connecting with Casey Geeb and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Casey, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued a creative career because I knew I was not that person that could sit behind a desk for 8 hours a day staring at a computer! I wanted to be able to meet new people and I have always had an eye for design, function and flow!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have been working as a lead designer at Borden Interiors for over 10 years. I have gotten where I am today by being an honest and hard working person. I pride myself on communication with my clients and being a problem solver. I have recently been so busy with new projects, all from word of mouth from past clients. I think when your name in business has a good reputation you will find that you never have to seek out clients. I want the world to know about my brand that I genuinely want what’s best for my clients, whether is a commercial or residential project. I like to look at options to best suit the project and come up with creative solutions to any issues that may arise!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love living in Santa Barbara, I remind myself on the regular that I am sooo fortunate that I get to live here. I can go hiking and to the beach all in 1 day! I would take someone first to brunch at Scarlett Begonia, then a hike at Inspiration Trail, pick up lunch from Blue Owl and have a picnic in the Rose Garden. For dinner we would go to Satellite for a nice glass of wine and an app then head to the Daisy for dinner. Must see places are Padaro Beach, Funk Zone, Lotus Land and the Botanical Gardens.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Borden Interiors & Associates- its where I started and where I still contract work with. Debra Borden (owner and principal) has been a friend and mentor for over 10 years to me. We collaborate well and have fun working together.
