We had the good fortune of connecting with Catherine Loewe and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Catherine, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My partner and I after working for many years curating exhibitions and advising collectors wanted to create a platform which harnessed new technology to bring our wish-list artists together in a way that could be visualised in the home.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our business was founded during this Pandemic year but is a long-time in the making as we have been working with artists and collectors for many years. What sets us apart is that we present art as if it was an imaginary collection, allowing our clients to benefit from our experience in the industry. We are a combination of gallery and advisory, something that galleries do not typically have the time to do is work closely to assist the client in all aspects from installing a work in their home to setting up a foundation. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The main person I’d like to shoutout to is my partner Alexandra Ray who is a true art goddess and huntress and a friend of mine since schooldays. Also the all-woman team at INVI who have realised the interiors to such a extraordinary standard https://invi.us/ and our all-woman PR team Leighanne Murray and Kasimiira Kontio.
