We had the good fortune of connecting with Cesar Ramirez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cesar, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always worked with 3D modeling and animation, and for a long time, I looked for a way to turn that passion into a personal business, something that was truly my own. That idea started to take shape when I got my first 3D printer. While I had already done some freelance work in modeling and animation, owning a 3D printer allowed me to explore projects on a more personal level.

From the very beginning, this was all about passion. I started out doing 3D modeling projects just for myself, as a hobby. When I first began printing, I would even give away my prints for free. It was a way to practice and keep learning, because 3D printing isn’t just about hitting a button and getting a perfect result you have to understand parameters, materials, and tune every aspect of the process. So, for me, it was a natural evolution.

I never had doubts or fears about starting this journey, if anything, I was excited to learn. Getting my own 3D printer felt like a big step forward, something I had wanted for a long time. Over time, my vision has grown as well. I’ve learned to design more complex pieces, achieving cleaner, more refined prints. Every project is a step toward improving the quality and pushing the limits of what I can create.

I’ve always been drawn to 3D modeling and animation, so adding 3D printing to the mix felt like a natural extension of my skills. It was an opportunity to take my digital creations and bring them to life in the real world. Since I already had experience with 3D software and modeling tools, it just made sense. it was time to turn those digital designs into physical objects.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My work revolves around transforming the imaginary into reality, creating objects that don’t exist in the real world and making them tangible. Whether it’s a character from a video game, a design from an animated show, or something purely conceptual, I love the idea of taking what was once digital or fictional and turning it into something people can physically own and appreciate. What sets my work apart is my perseverance and problem-solving approach. I believe that anything can be created with the right mindset and tools. For me, there’s no such thing as an impossible project, just challenges waiting to be figured out.

Throughout my journey, I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects that I’m truly proud of. Collaborating with well-known brands in the U.S. through my work in marketing has been incredibly rewarding. One of the projects that excited me the most was working with MyArcade, a company specializing in miniature arcade consoles. As someone who has always loved gaming, being able to design 3D models and animations for their products was an amazing experience. That project also led to an unexpected opportunity, working with Snoop Dogg’s company ‘’Death Row Records’’. I had the chance to create a 3D animated logo that now appears on their official YouTube content. Seeing my work featured in a major artist’s brand was a surreal and fulfilling moment. Beyond animation and modeling, my work in 3D printing has also been a source of pride. Being able to bring digital creations into the physical world is something special. Whether it’s a custom character, a unique object, or a specific design that a client envisions, I love the process of making it a reality. It’s a different kind of creativity, one that bridges the digital and physical worlds.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that everything is possible—there is no dream too big, no goal too ambitious, as long as you stay committed and keep learning. Obstacles will always seem overwhelming if you look at them all at once, but if you break them down and solve them one by one, nothing is impossible. Another important lesson is that your first career choice doesn’t have to define you forever. Just because you studied one field doesn’t mean you are limited to it for the rest of your life. Every skill you acquire can be applied in new ways, and knowledge is never wasted. The key is to keep evolving and embracing new challenges. So, if there’s something you want to do, start today. Don’t overthink it, don’t let doubts hold you back. Just take the first step and begin working toward your dreams. You never know where that journey will take you, but if you stay passionate and persistent, you’ll create something amazing.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a friend were visiting Los Angeles for the first time, I’d definitely take them to see both the iconic spots and some of my personal favorites. Sure, some places might seem cliché, but they’re a must if you really want to experience LA. We’d start with Downtown LA, checking out the Walt Disney Concert Hall, an architectural masterpiece, and The Broad Museum right across the street. Since I have a background in architecture, I always appreciate exploring these kinds of spaces. Of course, no trip would be complete without a deep dive into the entertainment world, so we’d hit up Universal Studios Hollywood, the Warner Bros Tour, and if time allows, Disneyland because, honestly, you can’t come to LA and skip Disney.

We’d also get outdoors to enjoy the natural beauty of the city. A hike to the Wisdom Tree would be on the list. It’s right next to the Hollywood sign and offers one of the best views of the city. We’d also visit Griffith Observatory, another classic LA spot that never gets old, especially at sunset. And, of course, we’d make time for the beaches, Venice Beach for its vibrant, artistic, and eclectic atmosphere, and Santa Monica for a more relaxed and scenic vibe.

As for food, we’d keep things classic with a stop at In-N-Out, but I’d also take them to Easy Street Burgers in North Hollywood for one of the best local burgers. Sushi in Little Tokyo is a must, and if we’re in Downtown LA, Mrs. Fish is the perfect spot for great sushi and live music. I’d also introduce them to Catch LA for some amazing seafood and, just for the experience, a bit of LA’s famous vegan food scene, even though I’m not vegan myself. At the end of the day, LA is all about variety, and I’d make sure my friend gets to experience a little bit of everything.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many people I’d love to mention, and I’m sure I’ll miss many, because I have never been alone on this journey. I have to start by expressing my deep gratitude to the entire Faculty of Architecture at the ‘’Universidad de Oriente’’ (UDO) in Anzoátegui, Venezuela. Throughout my time there, I was fortunate to have professors who not only guided me academically but also supported me beyond the classroom. Their encouragement and mentorship played a significant role in shaping my perspective on design, creativity, and problem-solving. I hold each of them in high regard for the impact they had on my growth as a student and as a professional.

Among those professors, I want to especially highlight Evelin Alfaro, Flor Pereira, Hernán Canela, and Reinaldo Mogna. Their guidance, patience, and dedication were invaluable during one of the most challenging and important stages of my academic career. Their belief in my work and their willingness to push me to improve made a lasting impact on how I approach my craft today. I am incredibly grateful for their mentorship and for the knowledge they shared with me.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without my parents, Anny Sieber and César Ramírez. They have supported me unconditionally in everything I’ve ever wanted to do. They never once told me “no” when it came to my dreams; instead, they encouraged me to pursue them. Thanks to them, I am the dreamer I am today. They never clipped my wings, never told me to be “realistic” in a way that would limit me. Everything I’ve been able to achieve, I owe to their dedication, their belief in me, and their constant support since I was a child.

I want to acknowledge my colleagues and friends who have been by my side through it all. Andrés Reyes, a great friend and brother in the field of architecture, also Pierre Beaufrand and Rafael Canelón, who have been like family to me since childhood. They have always supported me in every crazy idea and creative project I’ve pursued.

I also want to thank the companies that gave me opportunities when I arrived in the U.S, like Lilikoi Agency and Times10. They opened doors for an immigrant who wanted nothing more than to work in the field he loved ‘’3D’’ animation and modeling. Their trust in me was invaluable, and I will always appreciate the chance they gave me.

In terms of artistic inspiration, I have to mention visionaries like Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe, and Zaha Hadid. Their work ignited my passion for design, for creating something from nothing, and for conceptual architecture, an approach that has influenced not just my work in architecture but also my exploration of 3D modeling, animation, film, and photography.

And, of course, I can’t forget the movies and animations that shaped my love for 3D. Disney films and animated works in general played a huge role in opening my eyes to this world. They sparked my curiosity, fueled my imagination, and made me want to explore 3D modeling and animation even after finishing my architecture degree.

Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to every single person who has contributed, even in the smallest way, to my journey. To every friend I’ve had, every person who has crossed paths with me, every mentor, colleague, or even a stranger who has shared advice or encouragement, thank you. Your words, your support, your belief in me, no matter how small, have shaped who I am today. To those I may have forgotten to mention by name, please know that you are in my heart. Thank you for being there when I needed you, for your kindness, for your guidance, and for making a difference in my life.
