Hi cezur, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m from Brooklyn , New York. I feel like this city definitely has its own culture that embodies many other cultures . Brooklyn is a melting pot and I feel like that’s inspired the way I walk, talk, think and more . My album BK BABY is an ode to growing up here

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My music borrows influence from all the stuff I listened to growing up. I’m willing to push the boundaries a lot and I think that lack of inhibition definitely sets me apart from others . A lot of us are operating on the echo chamber of opinions on the internet and those around us . I refuse to adhere to this in music, fashion, and beyond . Whenever you’re going against the grain you’re going to experience some struggles , but perseverance & faith kept me going .

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In New York if you want to have a good time , you can visit any neighborhood and find your tribe . I love hanging out in Flatbush and LES . Bouncing around bars and figuring it out .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I appreciative of any one following my journey . It’s been a long ride , and we’ve had our struggles, but we’re finally able to say we’re done with the project . My utmost gratitude is extended to anyone who’s showed love
