We had the good fortune of connecting with Chanda Am and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chanda, what makes you happy? Why?
The Joy of seeing people happy knowing that I was able to help them.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
One of my arts is spiritualism; I love helping people solve their problems. It gives me great joy knowing that I was able to help them.
I’d like to consider myself unique and different from others.
What separates me from them is my desire, will, and commitment to not only my success but also that of others. It’s not easy to get where I am, to be honest with everyone I am not even 1/4 of the way to the goals that I have set for myself. I always tell myself no matter how hard things can become; I must stay positive. My philosophy is: There are those who may doubt me but I can never doubt myself.
The lesson I have learned is a very simple one: No matter how hard things may become I must never EVER give up because the moment I do means that I have defeated and prevented myself from my goals and desires.
It’s definitely not easy, I think of myself as if I’m a single fish in a ocean of millions.
So saying this – the competition is brutal and I must stay positive and have an unbending will and desire to succeed.
What I’d like the world to know about me when it’s all said and done; is that I left an important impact on people’s lives, create inspiration, and bring love and happiness.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had friends visiting for a week here in L.A. I’d want them to have a memorable stay! I would take them to Chinatown to experience Asian culture. We’d visit various Free Museums in the area for the Arts. For food, we’d visit the many street markets to experience food from all over, and of course, I’d definitely take them to rooftop bars, speakeasies, and clubs for drinks & to enjoy the nightlife. For the daytime experience, we’d go to Catalina Island.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank all my family members and friends that have helped me throughout my journey to success. I would also like to give a huge thank you to Soun from The Tontine movie, Patty & Kim Loan from Prestigious Image Powerhouse.
