Meet Charmaine Mitchell | Mother, Mystic. Feng Shui Queen.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Charmaine Mitchell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Charmaine, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Ha! Starting a business wasn’t something I ever really thought about. Entrepreneurship chose me.
After staying home and raising the next generation for 23 years, I found myself divorced and destitute. I applied for jobs at real estate brokerages and brokerages as I love real estate. No one hired me. Even Starbucks turned me away! Starting my own business became the path. But what would that be??
With a BA in Government & International Affairs from Georg Mason Jniversity, numerous acting classes from Lee Strasberg in NY & LA, I thought what can I do with this? I decided to ask a different question: “what do I love?” Feng Shui. Making a home, a sanctuary. I also love celebrating and supporting women. I heard a quote once: “your genius is the gratitude you receive from others.” My friends came to me regularly for my wisdom. Rasiskng four children and leading yourself through a divorce with grace will give you a whole lot of wisdom.
So I became certified in Feng Shui and life coaching. Having NO IDEA how they would come together. I just followed the what I loved. Steve Jobs once said “ you can’t connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect the dots looking back.” And that has been so true!!!
When 2020 brought us all online, I created the online Feng Shui Experience. A beautiful combination of Feng Shui and coaching. I believe our home is a mirror to our subconscious and as my clients create sanctuaries without, they are simultaneously creating sanctuaries within. It quickly became a multiple six figure global brand with clients in the USA, Canada, Costa Rica, Bali, Australia, New Zealand, France, England, Scotland, South Africa,

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The deeper truth of sacred space is beyond aesthetics, beyond function.
A true sanctuary is a portal, a resonance field where the seen and the unseen dance. It is an altar to what is becoming, a container for the quantum shifts already in motion.
The leaders I support are not just rearranging furniture, clearing clutter, or aligning elements – they are encoding reality itself. The work they do in their spaces is the work they do in their souls.
This isn’t just Feng Shui. This is frequency design. Reality weaving. And in the presence of such mastery, old structures and old energies have no choice but dissolve, making way for what is sovereign and true.
This is the embodiment of divine order: when the codes come fully online.
This body of work has grown and evolved over the years. Deepening and elevating with every soul, every sanctuary.
It is my profound honor to be invited into sacred spaces, to guide and lead with my heart and to witness the growth and transformation and expansion for each client.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
