Meet Chloe Anderson | Actress & Singer/Songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chloe Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chloe, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Because I tend to be more right-brained I’m pretty much everything. I have outside-of-the-box ideas and I hate the thought of working a “traditional” 9-5 job for the rest of my life. I wish it was easier to have a secure creative job and there were more opportunities to do so, but I guess then everyone would do it.
I’m proud of how creative I am and I have so many artistic ideas I want to come to life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others is my inability to quit. I could fall flat on my face a still get up. It’s easy for me not to freak out about how bad things are and I tend not to give into my trauma or anxieties. Many petiole will be like, “Oh I’m doing this to prove my family wrong” or “I want to be an inspiration to other young girls” and while that’s awesome, I feel like everyone has that mindset. I kinda do to, but really, it’s just because this is what I feel I’m destined to do. I’m doing it mostly to prove myself right if that makes sense haha. And if all works out, to inspire others. Because most people say anything is possible, but honestly, it takes a lot of hard work to get where you want to be and there are so many times you’ll want to quit and hate everything in the process. But I’ve learned that you can have people supporting or encouraging you along the way, but the only one who can get you to your destination is yourself so you have to believe in yourself. Im really excited about my upcoming album “Perception.” It’s my second album and I love the concept. I’ve been working on it for a couple years now. Im also remastering my first album “Wonder” and those projects are almost complete!
I hope it gives insight to where I came from and where I am now and why I am who I am. Everyone has a past that shaped them into the person they are today. The only way for me to have people understand me is through my writing.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d go to the walk of fame to see our favorites but be sad that Taylor Swift doesn’t have a star so we’d go see her wax statue in the museum. I honestly have only been here in LA for a short while so I don’t know my way around and have barely seen anything. So we’d figure it out together. I’ve always wanted to go see the Hollywood sign up close so we’d do that for sure.
I also haven’t run into a single celebrity so that would be nice too.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Would it be weird to say my dog? XD He’s heard me sing all my songs, record all my demos, and film all my auditions. I talk to him like he’s my best friend and he’s the only one who I’m not embarrassed to fail in front of. I practice lines with him (as if he can actually talk back hehe) and I pretend to have conversations with him like he’s encouraging me. I see it in Milo’s eyes. He’s seen me cry, laugh, and keep trying to achieve my dreams/goals. So I can’t really think of anyone but him as a better support system
