We had the good fortune of connecting with Chloe Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chloe, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I am from a small town called Big Bear. My parents had me young and divorced while I was still young. Then I lived full time with my awesome mom. I’m also the oldest sibling. It was pretty hard growing up with divorced parents, but sadly that’s how most families are now. Growing up going back and forth took a toll on me, but as I got older and was able to understand, it got a lot better. I’m definitely more independent and strong due to that lifestyle. My mom taught me pretty much everything I know and she’s my hero.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m so excited for my next musical album. I’ve been working on it for so long and it’s nearly complete! I’m also in the process of starting a THIRD album as well! Also filming some projects which I’ve been waiting for and so grateful and honored to be a part of. I’m not exactly where I want to be, but I’m getting there. It’s definitely not been easy. I’d say my greatest challenge is my own self. My self-doubt, lack of self-confidence, etc. I’ve learned no matter how corny it sounds, if you want something, you keep trying. I was in a really bad place ready to give up, but then I got a part that I auditioned for and it brought back hope. I hope to inspire people that even if you come from nothing and even if you weren’t discovered young, it’s never too late to chase your dreams.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’ve never been to the Hollywood Sign or the Hollywood Bowl so I’d definitely take us there. I’m go-with-the-flow so wherever we’re walking and shopping, we could find a place to eat or drink that looks interesting. West Hollywood is definitely fun and interesting to check out.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mom, my manager, and my acting coach. I love you guys!
