We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Pitsicalis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chris, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was tired of the same old work until you burn out ideology! I was unhappy working for low rates, making other people successful while I wasn’t doing anything that benefited my soul. I always had an entrepreneurial spirit and when the pandemic happened I was pushed so hard by the universe to finally open an LLC.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve always been a creative person full of ideas but my lack of confidence caused me to sleep on myself up until about a year ago. I sought out two therapists as I felt I was emotionally spiraling out of control. The pandemic made being a professional dancer extremely exhausting in many ways. The jobs were scarce, the pay was lower than ever before and I felt worthless. It took a lot of courage for me to look in the mirror at all my traumas, my failing relationship and my empty wallet and face all of my issues head on. Therapy helped me see myself, my worth, and my other talent’s I’ve been keeping inside my brain and i started to write everything down. I noticed I’m great at other things besides dancing such as choreography, creative direction, script writing, editing, acting, modeling, content creation and its all wrapped up inside a business savvy mind. A good old fashioned notebook and pen was all I had at the time. I started writing down my ideas and took notes the second something popped into my head. I was determined to create my own path and get notoriety somehow. My Tik Tok videos started going viral and I became an overnight success. Within 1 year I hit 100K Followers, 4 Million likes and 10’s of millions of video views. Brands started reaching out to me to create content for them. I changed my mindset from thinking I had only one path with a ton of road blocks and instead started shoveling my own path. I want the world to know that the key to success is to stop worrying about what others think of you, focus on healing your past traumas and to practice gratitude. Manifestation is real!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I absolutely love eating breakfast at EggTuck or The Waffle in Hollywood. The food is so bomb and the prices are decent for Los Angeles! I think they both have a few locations.

Brunch in West Hollywood to see a fabulous drag show, sip mimosas and spill all the tea! (Beaches and Micky’s have great shows)

Depending on the time of year id say rent an Airbnb in Joshua Tree, chill in the dessert, take some edibles and lay under the stars or Big Bear with a cozy cabin in the snow with a fun group of friends.

Have to hit the typical LA tourist destinations, Runyon Canyon, Hollywood Blvd, maybe some expensive iced coffee from Alfred (just to say we went there) and definitely some donuts from Sidecar Donuts!

Zuma Beach in Malibu is one of my fav beaches!
