Meet Christina Bogino | Wedding Planner & Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Bogino and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christina, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The biggest factor behind the success of InGobo Events is our ability to take the completely unexpected and turn it into something unforgettable. Over the years, I’ve really carved out a niche in transforming outdoor and unconventional spaces—what I call ‘build-out events.’ These are blank canvases—unassuming backyards, wineries, botanical gardens—and we bring in everything: flooring, lighting, tenting, power, full design. We’re literally building the experience from the ground up.
That kind of work requires vision, yes—but also logistics mastery and a team that operates with precision. It’s not just about making something beautiful; it’s about making it seamless, safe, and guest-ready on every level.
And it ties into my bigger mission. I started out just wanting to be a solid planner. But I’ve evolved into someone who wants to create deeply meaningful events—where love and culture take center stage, and the design reflects who the couple is at their core. I bring my experience planning weddings across a wide range of cultures, which lets me layer in those rich details authentically.
At the heart of it all is clear, direct communication and the ability to pivot—whether we’re managing weather changes on-site or reworking timelines on the fly. That resilience, paired with a passionate, detail-obsessed team, is what drives our success. We don’t just plan weddings—we construct experiences that leave an impact.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Ingobo Events is a boutique event planning and design company that specializes in high-touch, culturally inspired weddings—especially in outdoor or unconventional spaces. What sets us apart is our ability to take a completely blank canvas—like a backyard, field, or private estate—and build a fully immersive event experience from the ground up. We’re not just planners—we’re experience architects.
What I’m most proud of is how we center each couple’s identity and heritage in every design decision. I’ve worked on so many diverse weddings, and I use that cultural fluency to make sure each event truly reflects the people at the heart of it. We’re also known for being calm, communicative, and prepared for anything—which is huge when emotions and stakes are high.
Getting here wasn’t easy. Like many small business owners, I had to learn how to shift from just ‘doing the work’ to running a real business. One of the biggest turning points was joining the Planners Who Profit™ program with coach Feyisola Ogunfemi. It helped me understand my value, define my niche, and build a business around the kind of work I love most.
Some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned: resilience is everything, clear communication solves 90% of problems, and you can’t do it alone. I’m proud of the brand I’ve built—and the team that brings these events to life with heart, precision, and joy.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know, it’s that we don’t just plan weddings—we honor love, culture, and family through intentional, unforgettable experiences.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting, I’d kick things off with cozy charm and great flavor—starting the day at Pressed+ Flower Coffee Boutique for artisan coffee and beautiful floral vibes. From there, we’d explore Downtown Covina and catch a comedy set at the Laugh Factory, which always guarantees a night of good laughs and energy.
Midweek, we’d escape to the California Botanic Garden in Claremont—one of my absolute favorite wedding venues. It’s a serene, nature-filled space that also inspires so many of my event designs. We’d time our visit to swing by the Claremont Farmers Market for fresh produce and unique local finds.
When it comes to food, we’d hit up some of my must-visits: Donut Man for their legendary strawberry donuts, Mr. Pollo for bold, authentic Peruvian dishes, Thumbling for comforting dim sum, and Crazy Rock’n Sushi for fresh, fun sushi nights.
For nightlife, I’d create a mix of hidden and high-rise vibes. We’d start with curated cocktails at the Lincoln House speakeasy—perfect for that intimate, high-touch feel. Then we’d head to Level 8 in Downtown LA for rooftop views, music, and dancing to wrap the night with energy and elegance.
This itinerary reflects everything I love—supporting local, discovering creative spaces, and turning everyday moments into beautifully curated experiences, just like I do at InGobo Events.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
A huge shoutout goes to wedding business coach Feyisola Ogunfemi and the Planners Who Profit community. Her program completely transformed how I run my business—from mindset to strategy. I went from just booking any and all events to confidently curating high-touch, cultural celebrations that each reflect my passion and purpose. Feyisola’s coaching gave me the tools, clarity, and community I didn’t even realize I needed. I wouldn’t be where I am without her.”
