We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Francois and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christina, do you have a budget? How do you make lifestyle and spending decisions?
Yes as a business owner and as a woman I do have a budget with a goal in mind to invest and save most of my income after I pay my expenses and bills. Once I have taken care of those priority I also invest In my looks and clothes now. Although it does not have a literal ROI but it does help me feel more confident to create more content and be creative. One thing I’m currently struggling on when it comes to my jewelry brand is figuring out which business investment and expense to spend on but overtime I’m learning how to make these diffucult decision to grow and scale the business.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets my jewelry business apart is that I create design around women’s self love and growth journey. When people buy jewelry it usually represent something significant in their life or reminds them of someone or a memory . With the jewelry I design you are reminded daily of the women you are or want to be .
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My fave spots in the city would definity be a good eatery spot like Restoration Hardware or Nobu for lunch and then we would head down to zara to shop !
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank God , my friend francisca and my family for always keeping me accountable . My parents came from Haiti and pushed me to get my education and to work twice as hard to attain success and respect . My mother taught me to be more spirtual and to manifest better for myself and my father taught me to work hard and always look good which is where my love for fashion stemed from . All of this value formed to start to my jewelry brand Best Girl Store which empowers women to be the best version of themselve through fashion.
