We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Greiner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christina, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
People often assume that styling or content creation is all glamour — beautiful clothes, fun shoots, and creative freedom. And while it is an incredible job and I feel privileged to do what I love, there’s so much hard work behind the scenes that often goes unseen or underappreciated.

Take styling, for example. It’s not just “picking out cute outfits.” It involves running between stores and showrooms, hauling racks of clothes, steaming everything, and doing endless fittings — sometimes under intense time pressure. You’re constantly managing sizing, fit, color coordination, client preferences, and creative direction — all while troubleshooting last-minute issues if things don’t work out. It’s physical, fast-paced, and requires serious problem-solving skills.

Content creation has its own set of challenges. You’re not just making pretty videos — you’re building a strategy, thinking about platform-specific trends, tailoring content to different audiences, and often directing talent with very different personalities. You need to stay on your toes and be ready to pivot fast — whether that’s because of a trend shift, a last-minute creative change, or simply managing production logistics.

It’s an amazing and rewarding industry — but it’s also competitive, high-pressure, and requires a huge amount of adaptability, stamina, and creativity behind the scenes.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work lives at the intersection of fashion, storytelling, and strategy. I come from a background in wardrobe styling and creative direction, and over the years, I’ve expanded into content creation, production, and campaign strategy. What sets my work apart is the mix of industry-level polish and a very real, intuitive approach to storytelling — I love creating visuals that are bold, dynamic, and trend-aware, but also human and relatable.

I’m originally from Berlin, Germany, and have been working in fashion and creative production for over a decade. I started as a stylist and eventually became the Creative Director for one of Germany’s biggest streetwear companies, where I collaborated with brands like Nike and Adidas. In 2021, I began working with Riot Games as a wardrobe stylist for their Valorant global shows and League of Legends campaigns, styling on-screen talent for some of the most high-profile esports broadcasts in the world. That experience introduced me to live broadcast production and opened up a whole new chapter creatively.

I officially moved to Los Angeles at the end of 2023 to grow my career even further on an international scale. Since then, I’ve joined Fashion Nova, where I currently work as a Content Manager, leading major seasonal campaigns across swim, fall, and trend-driven collections.

The journey definitely hasn’t been easy. Moving to a new country, starting over in a new industry landscape, and navigating everything from visas to culture shifts was a huge challenge. But I trusted myself, stayed adaptable, and kept pushing forward even when things felt uncertain. I’ve learned that consistency, collaboration, and staying curious will take you far — and that you don’t have to fit into one lane creatively. You can evolve, pivot, and expand.

What I want people to know about me and my work is that I care deeply about creating content that connects. I don’t just want to make something pretty — I want to make something that speaks to people, that reflects real culture, and that elevates voices and stories that matter. Whether I’m styling a shoot, producing a campaign, or strategizing for a new product launch, I bring that same passion to everything I do.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting L.A. for a week, I’d definitely start by taking them to breakfast at Maxine’s, my favorite diner in Venice. After that, we’d walk around Abbot Kinney, people-watch, grab ice cream at Salt & Straw, and just soak up the Westside vibe. I’m also obsessed with Manhattan Beach — it’s such a peaceful, clean, beautiful little bubble. When I’m having a rough day, I always go there to reset, so I’d love to show that to them too. It really feels like a movie moment.

We’d absolutely do some shopping on Melrose Avenue, and I’d also take them to the Melrose Trading Post or Silver Lake Flea Market for something more local. And if we’re in Silver Lake — we’re getting bagels. No question. I’d also take them hiking — probably the Culver Stairs or Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook — and then drive up the coast for breakfast at Duke’s in Malibu, dolphin watching, and just being by the water as much as possible.

We’d also visit LACMA — not just for the art (which is amazing), but for their free Friday jazz nights in the summer, and sometimes salsa nights, which are so much fun after work. At night, I’d take them to a few bars in Venice, and maybe end the week with dinner and live music at Bakari in Silver Lake — it has such a cozy vibe, a fun crowd, and really great tapas to share.

L.A. has so many sides — creative, calming, chaotic, and cultural — and I love showing people all the little corners that make this city feel like home.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my best friend and longtime creative partner, Mina Murashkin. We’ve been working together for over eight years, and she’s been such a constant source of support, inspiration, and collaboration throughout my career. Mina is a true creative force — she’s a fashion designer, wardrobe stylist, and hair and makeup artist, and somehow manages to excel in every single lane.

We’ve created some incredible work together over the years, and I’ve learned so much from her both personally and professionally. She’s one of the most talented and hardest-working people I know, and I’m really excited about everything we’ll continue to build together in the future.
