We had the good fortune of connecting with Clash and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Clash, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
I feel like this industry is spontaneous. Although, through persistence and consistency you can make these spontaneous occurrences appear more often. With music, you can continuously reinvent yourself until the world is ready for you. You just gotta be ready for the unexpected.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is art for the people, to move. To ensue emotions, to make you feel. To make the world feel. Nobody is comin like this. This sound, this feeling, this life that im experiencing with you and all of my fans is mine. Its me. Im excited for every breath that I get. Im excited to be alive and still be here honestly. It was hard af; I got here through a whole bunch of reading, ear hustling, and listening before anything. Thats why it will always be listen clash. The best lesson I’ve learned is that if you cant trust em dont keep em around. Thats a lesson I wish I learned as a kid. I want the world to know that there are billions of people around the world like Clash. As I rise there will be many to grow like me, to feel like me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting, I would spend the first day doing as much “foot exploring” as possible! Checking out local restaurants, dispensaries, and venues until we can barely stand. The next three days would consist of driving, as Long Beach is so close to everything! So I guess our stop for those days would be gas stations, like my boy on PCH and Pacific. The next two days would best be spent couch surfing and linking with all of my successful friends. Go visit their businesses and crash their parties until we (hopefully) get kicked out! The last day is for movies and rest. Because no one wants to go out on a trip and spend money every second. Overall, Long Beach is IT. Simply being here is a great time, but with me hennything is possible.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
When I think about WHO I want to shout out, I dont have one person that comes to mind. Instead, I have a slew of amazing women who have helped me get to where I am now. So I guess in that way it would start with my mom, grandma, Leila Steinberg, Marisol Ibanez, a couple therapists, and a whole lotta beautiful lovers I have had over the years.
