Hi Claudia, how do you think about risk?
Embracing risk is essential—it reveals what you’re truly capable of. Choosing safety, whether on a small scale or large, maintains comfort but limits growth. The comfort zone is crucial for establishing good habits and routines, building a knowledge base, and laying a solid foundation. Once established, it’s time to venture into uncertainty, to take a leap and discover uncharted territories. Fear is natural, but what follows is life itself—the spontaneity humans crave, the essence of living. Free-falling tests your skills in real time, amidst unpredictability, transforming you into a stronger, more knowledgeable, and more connected individual.

Venturing into the art world was like launching into the unknown—or perhaps, a “failure to launch”? Regardless, embracing my creative side wasn’t a gradual process; it was a sudden immersion. From never having painted to picking up a brush one day and falling passionately in love with it, I became absorbed in my own creative storm, occasionally surfacing for air. For me, creativity flows naturally; the challenge lies in building a sustainable business from it. Despite numerous obstacles, the key to overcoming them is perseverance. I’ve gleaned countless lessons, with many more to come. What I do know is that we’re all human, doing our best. Grant yourself love, grace, and time. Celebrate victories and find goodness in everyone. Pursue your passions and fill your days with as much joy and love as you can!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Venice Beach, in my opinion, is the place to be. Here, life’s beauty and contrasts—darkness and light—unfold simultaneously. It’s a melting pot where people of all ages and backgrounds—locals and visitors, athletes and artists, partygoers and meditators—coexist. The energy is infectious, brimming with optimism, creativity, and love. There’s a palpable sense of vibrancy, with people expressing themselves in unique ways, making Venice my favorite spot to share with anyone.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Throughout my journey, my family and friends have been my pillars of strength. They’ve stood by me through every transformation in my life, offering unconditional love, support, and guidance. Their constant support has been instrumental in shaping who I am today, and I am deeply grateful to them.
