We had the good fortune of connecting with Clifford Hayes Jr and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Clifford, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
At the time of starting the buisness I was working for various industrial construction companies who would require you to travel A’lot throughout the U.S. The money was good but their was A’lot of down time in-between Jobs like 2-3Months before next gig. I wanted to start having more productive time in between gigs.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started Coldworld4863 in 2014 but Didn’t start taking it seriously until 2015 after being laid off from work while in a small town called Pico Texas. The lay off was very unfair in my eyes and I remember telling myself from here on out I’m gonna have control of my own destiny & not at the hands of a company that can give you the boot when they feel like it. I put in A’lot of groundwork and still am to this day., It has been very challenging to stay consistent especially when your independent & very few see your vision and very little help is offered. I’ve learned to stay determined no matter what even when things don’t go your way you have to keep moving forward with your vision.Im a strong believer of being consistent & persistent it will take you a long way.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would start off by taking them to Pier 39 In Downtown San Francisco let them get a feel of the tourist environment.Theirs A’lot of nice restaurants in the city (SF). We Definitely would have to go check out (Thangs Long )nice restaurant,If it’s spring time/summer time we could catch a baseball game at AT&T ballpark. Theirs also some nice beaches down the coast in Monterey/Capitola we could hangout at and have great time.Watch the surfers ride the Big Waves 🌊

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Along this Journey I’ve learned to read A’lot of Inspirational books from other successful Entrepreneurs. I’ve had the pleasure of reading a couple great books like .Russell Simmons(Do You!),Dale Partridge(Launch Your Dream) Lala Anthony (The Power PlayBook) & Daymond John (The Power Of Being Broke).Also I like to show TrapXart A Bay Area based Company some love they provide a global platform for A’lot upcoming Entrepreneurs to display their creativity.I like to also Show Jason & Ariana Spencer at (SAJscreenprinting) some Love For Always Bringing my creative ideas to Life.
