We had the good fortune of connecting with Tico Lorenzo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tico, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Im really excited to announce that I’m starting my own clothing line. Fashion is something that really inspires me and excites me at the same time. The main reason why I wanted to start my own line is because I would find myself going to stores and not finding what I wanted or not liking the fit of it. I want everyone to feel and look there best without them spending hundreds of dollars on pieces. Im still in the process of getting everything ready hopefully to launch before summer ends.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Theres a lot of different projects I’m working on right now. My clothing line is the one I’m most excited for it to launch. Originally we wanted to start off by dropping a basic collection but its been hard to find to right fabric for it. Since its summer we are dropping 3 pieces from a swimwear collection I have been dying to do. hopefully by fall the basics will drop and be essential to guys. Other project that impassion ate about is a podcast with my two best friends called Send Nvdes Podcast. when starting the podcast I thought it was going to be easy but there is a lot of behind the scenes that goes in to creating a 30-45 min podcast episode. On our podcast we make a weekly drink and sit and talk about pop gossip, sex stories, current events. I feel like a lot of people relate to us we are in ours 20’s trying to figure life out. We have definitely gotten the hang of it now and its so much fun to do. I look at as a happy hour with my two best friends that’s being recorded for other people to listen to

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would say to either start the day by getting a coffee at Alfreds or my personal fave a matcha drink from cha cha matcha. Then I would take them around Beverly Hills and do a hike. You haven’t been to LA if you don’t get your insta pic at Runyon canyon. For lunch I would probably take them to Joans on third they have the best Chinese chicken salad and if they wanted to do something a little nicer I would go to cecconis its one of my favorite spots during the day. After lunch we would probably go shopping down melrose they have a lot of good streetwear stores. I would also take them to point dume in Malibu which is my favorite place to watch the sunset. For dinner I would either go to catch or Jon and vinnys for the spicy fussili and a glass of wine.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have a lot of people that I would like to shout out but mainly my mom. She has been there for every single crazy idea I have and has always been the most supportive of anything I want to do. Also all my close friends who have helped me with any of my problems and are there to give me advice on life. Im so grateful to have such a good support group of friends who uplift each other and are there for one another no matter what
