We had the good fortune of connecting with Naomi Poshneh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Naomi, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always been super passionate about brows and making people feel confident. I started The Brow Fixx because I wanted to create a space that felt elevated, welcoming, and focused on natural results and real connection. I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but I’d rather take the risk of building something meaningful than always wonder “what if.” It’s been full of challenges, especially balancing entrepreneurship with motherhood, but I’m so proud of what we’ve built and the team we have today.

What should our readers know about your business?
The Brow Fixx started as a small dream my husband and I built together, and over the years it’s grown into three locations across two states, something we’re incredibly proud of. From the beginning, our goal wasn’t just to do great brows. We wanted to create a space where people felt comfortable, cared for, and left feeling more confident than when they walked in.

I think what sets us apart is that we genuinely care. We focus on naturallooking results, building relationships with our clients, and creating an experience that feels welcoming from the moment you walk through the door. We never want anyone to feel like just another appointment.

It definitely hasn’t been easy. Like any small business owner, we’ve had to figure things out as we went, adapt, make mistakes, and keep moving forward. Becoming a mom while running a business added a whole new layer of challenges, but it’s also given me even more perspective and purpose.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that success doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from showing up every single day, treating people well, staying true to your values, and never being afraid to evolve. I’m incredibly grateful for the team we’ve built, our loyal clients, and everyone who’s been part of our journey. We’re just getting started, and I’m excited for what’s next.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We live in Austin now after opening our newest Brow Fixx location here, but I still travel back to Los Angeles about once a month for work. LA was home for so many years, so it’ll always have such a special place in my heart.

If one of my best friends came to visit for a week, I’d definitely want to give them the full LA experience and show them all the places that made me fall in love with the city. One day we’d start with Erewhon for smoothies and coffee because honestly, even if you don’t understand the hype, you have to experience a $20 smoothie at least once LOL then drive up PCH to Malibu, spend a few hours at the beach, walk around the Malibu Pier and Malibu Country Mart, and end the day watching the sunset in Santa Monica before before grabbing dinner at one of the trendy spots there.

Another day we’d spend in Venice and Santa Monica, walk around Abbot Kinney, grab lunch and drinks somewhere cute, and cruise along the beach. I’d also have to do a Beverly Hills day. Walk around Rodeo Drive, have a really good lunch, and drive through the Hollywood Hills and down Sunset Boulevard.

I’d definitely plan a couple of amazing dinners, rooftop drinks, and maybe a night out in West Hollywood. I’d also want to take them to Griffith Observatory around sunset and, if the Dodgers were in town, catch a game.

What I love most about LA is that every day can feel completely different. You can spend one day at the beach in Malibu, the next shopping and eating your way through the city, and then end up watching the sunset from the hills. Even though Austin is home now, I feel so lucky that I still get to go back every month. LA will always feel like a second home to me.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, I’d have to thank my husband. We started The Brow Fixx together, and while I’m the face of the business, he’s the one behind the scenes making so much of it possible. He’s always believed in me, even when I doubted myself, and I couldn’t have built this without him.

I’d also thank my mom. Growing up, I watched her work her butt off. She was so fierce, independent, and never afraid to go after what she wanted. She taught me the value of hard work and resilience by example, and she’s continued to be one of my biggest supporters through every stage of life and business.

And of course, my incredible team and our clients. My team pours so much care into what they do every day, and our clients have trusted us, supported us, and helped us grow through every stage of this journey. I truly wouldn’t be here without all of them.
