We had the good fortune of connecting with Clyde Goins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Clyde, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
As a parent I absolutely know that it is extremely important to pay attention to your childs needs and interests. They are natural and if nurtured at an early age it inspires confidence, self worth, and creative freedom for the future. I have three daughters, Leilah 14, Brianna 7, and Gabriella 6, and they are the joys of my life. They are my “why”, the reason I wake everyday and attack the day. I’ve watched them as they grow and look for what they tend to ask for the most. Coming from and arts background myself, I grew up singing alot around the house and i’ve noticed that all of my daughters express interest in that as well. The gifts and talents will show themsleves though their passion, look for the signs.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Im an Artistprenuer if you will allow me to create words lol. In pursuit of my acting aspirations and goals, I learned that I had a bit more input on the total production of things rather than just one aspect. I pride myself in listening and being able to perfom multiple tasks at one time and provide equal attention. So all it started with being on different production sets and acting “in front of camera”, and then progressed to doing assistant directing and production work “behind camera”. Which of course encouraged action to begin directing smaller projects on my own, and starting a production company Dimpace Productions.@dimpaceproductions – “We get, To Give!” – The multitasking that I take on has allowed for dedicated space to go into business with my wife as Leibriella Inc. and we acquired three flower shops. @vannuysflowers @chatsworthflorist #encinoflorist.com – “Creating Everlasting Memories One Bloom At Time!” – Along with that, I also run and operate a condiments product line of barbecue sauce named Chaplain’s Gourmet Signature Cabernet Barbecue Sauce and All Purpose Seasoning.- “Where Passion Meets Perfection” – Its my fathers secret recipe and boy does it still hit the spot 25 years and counting you can find us on IG: @chaplainsgourmet . When I have something that I beleive in, I will not stop until I see it sucessful! With the current climate of our economy its important to create multiple steams of income for you and your family. It wasnt easy, you have to take risks and beleive in yourself to see it through and not give up. There will be times when it doesnt look like it will grow, yet stay focused on the end goal the bigger picture. Do all that you can to Create something that will benefit others you love and care for. Lessons learned along the way for me were, its not what it looks like, keep going! Be Patient! I want the world the know that whatever desire you have inside to create something, whatever it is, a business, a movie, a script, a product, a non-profit, Do It!! Do It Yesterday! We wanted to share our passions and treasures with the world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ok first we are gonna satisfy the foodie in us all so each day we will visit a signature Southern California landmark starting with In N Out burger! There are resturaunts that have thee most amazing views of the city of Hollywood like Yamashiros and japanese resturant in the Hollywood Hills..especially the night lights. We would most definently go to Malibu, Ca to Zuma beach and Pacific Cove for some fine dining on the beach. Drinks would happen at every stop btw lol. Some fun people in my world are those who love the have fun and are creatives alike. I like free thinkers and those who have taken the time to self educate further than common knowledge. Those who love mountain overlooks and hiking, as well as beaches and parks im guess im a big outdoors type of person. So my friends would be as well.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would be remissed if I didint shout out my beautiful Business and Life partner my wife Veronica. We have gone from top to bottom and back to the top together and with our three lovely young daughters watching our every move, we refuse to quit! She runs and operates our Floral Businesses Van Nuys Flowers, Encino Florist and Chatsworth Florist. Also my parents Dr. Brian and Ruthie Goins, they are the excellent examples I have been blessed to have in my life.
