We had the good fortune of connecting with Cody Renegar and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cody, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I have always loved my freedom and having my own business takes for advantage of that.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I travel the world doing hair for those who need me. I have a full clientele in Washington DC and in Arkansas as well. In Los Angeles, where I live I love to focus on the Hollywood industry. That is truly where my passion lies. I am also an artist/painter with collectors all over the world as well. Art in any form Will hold my attention. Many of the lessons I have learned along the way seem to come from those I surround myself with. Self-improvement it’s kind of a hobby of mine and I like to focus on my faults so that I can destroy them and focus on my strengths so that I can grow them. I have learned to 100% let go of the negative people And simply replace them with positive and strong people. I love to listen to those wiser than myself and those with more experience. It’s a free education! I never excepted failure. Failure was not an option for me. If one thing didn’t work out, that’s just meant to be and has redirected me to where I’m meant to be. I think if I were to brand myself it would just simply be happiness. I have been happy with my career at all stages. I choose happiness on a daily basis because I do believe happiness is a choice. I focus on the energies that I spread into this world and I try with all I am to make sure that that energy is positive.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would show them all that California has to offer. My favorite thing about California is that from Los Angeles you can be in the desert within an hour, you could be in the snow capped mountains snow skiing in just over an hour, you could be in the wineries in the rolling hills or on an island in the ocean laying in the beach with a simple ferry ride. I do love to take my visitors to the restaurants in Malibu and dine as we watch the sun set.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have always made it a point to surround myself with people smarter, and wiser than myself. My circle of friends are from all different walks of life and constantly challenge me to become a better version of myself. I owe whatever success I have in this life to all of those who surround me with love and support.
