Meet Coloma Muro | Empowerment Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Coloma Muro and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Coloma, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
To be in my Truth no matter what. I feel that when I don’t attach to outcomes I am more present with what is, I enjoy where I am, and things align by themselves. In other words, if I focus on a goal, I abandon my feminine. When I am connected to my body, I can make decisions that come from my heart rather than from a place of agitation or conditioning. When I am one with my breath and I am proactively keeping my integrity I become more powerful in who I am – more whole -. The external is a reflection of the internal.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I bring my knowledge in marketing, communications, project management, professional training and skill building, as a Consultant for projects that align with my philanthropic vision, while working full-time as an Empowerment Coach, specialized in Identity issues, Life Transitions, Anxiety, Trauma, and Relationships. I combine with background in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience with an integrative approach, providing my clients with accessible tools for sustainable change. My mission is to contribute to collective transformation so my success is helping people thrive.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to Venice Beach, what I call home. A sunset stroll is the best way to end the day, combined with checking out different spots along the area. I would also go to some hot yoga studio and art galleries in Abbot Kinney. Depending on my friend’s interest, I would think of a specific itinerary but visiting the Getty Villla, the Hollywood sign, The Griffith Observatory, and Catalina Island would be must go-to’s.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My parents, brother, and Aloha (my dog!) are the ones that give me the most strength and courage. However, I wouldn’t be where I am at without my friends; they keep me accountable on respecting and valuing myself. Having a community that you can rely on and be your most authentic version is a gift. For us to find our people we must pay attention to how our body feels when we are around those people. I want to be around people that help me grow, not that make me feel good.
