We had the good fortune of connecting with Craig Posey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Craig, what is the most important factor behind your success?
My support system and my network. In this industry relationships are key. Over the years I have met a lot of people who have become really good friends and business partners.

Please tell us more about your career. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I am an Event Producer & Talent Manager for an emerging R&B artist by the name of Kenyon Dixon. I am also the Co Founder of a company called RCE (Ryan & Craig Entertainment) where we specialize in event production and brand partnerships.

I am really excited on the direction RCE (@rce_la)  is going. In a short time we have produced a variety of events: Day Parties, Brunches, Community Outreach, Panel Discussions and other Entertainment related events.
We have been fortunate enough to have worked with brands such as: Jameson, Avion, Martell, Beats by Dre, Clubhouse Global, Burgerim, Kind Snacks, Dulce Vida Tequila just to name a few.
I am most proud of our event Black Voices (@blk.voices), which we created to shine light on black creatives and give us a chance to celebrate and connect with each other. We also have an event called Let’s Taco Bout It that was created by my company (RCE) and my girlfriend Joia Stewart which is a recurring series that combines Taco Tuesdays with Panel Discussions surrounding popular topics. (Love, Music, Fashion, TV & Film)
This road has not been easy but it has challenged us to dig deep and expand our creativity. The company was built from scratch and has been fully funded by us. Our goal is to produce unforgettable events that not only allow us to have a good time but build and connect with each other while doing so. We want to build a community that pushes and inspires everyone to be great.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my family, friends and everyone who has helped me along the way. I could have not done it without them all. I have a strong tribe and we all support each other.
