Meet Ayeedaprince | Musical Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ayeedaprince and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ayeedaprince, how do you think about risk?
I think taking risk can be a good thing but also can be a downfall. It all depends on your work ethic, I feel like if you want something so bad you’re willing to sacrifice whatever it takes to make that happen. For instance, I took a big risk moving to California for my dreams to progress my music career with only $200 no job or income, but I was determined to the point I wasn’t going to go back home to Illinois regardless the circumstances. I’m here now and it’s time to make it happen. It has its ups and downs but I can say it’s been worth it vs settling and going back home.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I feel like I’m different. I know a lot of artist say that but with me I don’t feel you can tie me to any genre of music because I literally make all kinds from hiphop, pop, rock, etc. but I just find it unique/cool about me. Also I’m most proud about my determination and work ethic, even when I’m not recording music I’m always looking to ways to getting my music heard. Whether it’s engaging with strangers to stream/download to me promoting on social media or radio stations. Im always working. I feel Im where I am today mainly because of my character if not including my music. I feel if you ask someone who knows me or have been around me they’ll tell you I’m a supportive being and want to see everyone succeeding and living their dreams. And I’ll actually motivate and inspire others and if able to I help. But it wasnt always easy because of misinterpretation. People would see your kindness of helping or caring as weakness and look to abuse it. I’ve learned everyone isn’t your friend and most people are mainly around for beneficial purpose only. Also learned to stay focused and stay determined and taking risks can actually be the best decision you can make in your life. Also not being afraid to chase your dreams. I want the world to know that no matter what if you want something and you believe in it enough, go make it happen regardless what anyone say.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Everyone knows I’ll mainly say studio. I don’t really club or party no more like I used to if I’m being honest. So my fun is mainly me and my homies/brother cooking in the studio coming up with new music or just hit downtown chicago (ROOF ON THE WIT) with Sigma Chris. Always a good vibe, scenery, and people. And I always eat Icantbelievitsnotmeat, it’s a go to every time I’m home or if I’m back home I’ll eat at that place atleast 2-3 times out the week sometimes more.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
S/O KingJackAuto, bro really helped me take music to a whole other level just off being supportive and giving that motivation to me to keep going.
S/O OmiBeatz, we actually did a project together and actually he actually helped me with music by being my producer for some time and mainly recording/making music with me as well.
S/O Jomo, my brother and he also make music. Known bro since we been kids to now making music together and motivating each other each and everyday to keep going with this music and life in general.
And S/O my momma and grandma and auntie, and uncle for believing in me on this journey I’ve been on. They made sure a lot of studio time was taking care of and most importantly I stayed on track with my craft and not slack.
