We had the good fortune of connecting with Dani Holman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dani, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I started my business after a very painful “dark night of the soul”, which is the process of your entire life, ego, and the illusions we like to keep up being burned to ash in front of you all at once. It was the most painful experience of my life but I am grateful for it as it leads to a spiritual awakening. The suffering I went through during that time was so horrific, I didn’t want anyone else to go through that alone again. I created a “coven” , the babe cave coven, (named after the space i redid in my basement, like a man cave , but for babes), of like minded soul family, and started teaching spiritual workshops, offering shadow work and energy healing , as well as spiritual counseling. I also have a YouTube channel with guided meditations, sound healing, workshops, and psychic tarot readings that support my “babes” during their awakenings. It has been beautiful to see the way strangers support each other and offer love to one another. In terms of the bigger picture, as a group of awakened high vibe people we send our healing energy and “light” to areas of the earth where there is suffering. Things like a natural disaster, for example, it’s also often sent to the earth and the collective.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I was born a psychic medium, always interested in esoteric studies and the occult. In 2008 I became a reiki master teacher, and in 2022 I had a profound spiritual experience that changed me forever, and had a realization… I needed to start a spiritually based business. I have always been a bit different and rebellious, and I wanted to maintain my authenticity. I wanted to be different than what one would expect from a spiritual coach and energy healer/psychic. My business was going to be a bit edgy, a bit cheeky, and a lot sassy, but above all make spirituality accessible to anyone and everyone. I created the Babe Cave Coven, and earned the name That Witch Dani! I started social media pages and a YouTube channel and teaching one workshop a week to whoever would come to my aunts backyard or my babe cave! Eventually I had students from all over the world and everything needed to go virtual. That was a difficult transition. Figuring out tech (not my forte), times that worked best, advertising, zoom account, registration process…. So much growth so fast I wasn’t prepared for, and I still had my full time corporate job and no other staff. Ultimately, I knew if I was going to do this it deserved all of my attention. I am a single mom of 3, and also lost my partner four years ago, it was not an easy decision to quit the job that offered all of the money and security we relied on. As a spiritual woman, I knew I had to believe in me and have faith and trust that the universe would support me. I signed up for every little vendor event and spiritual conference I could possibly attend with my homegirl Ashley, owner of Crystal Cyborg. I owe so much to that girl! Got some merch like crystal bracelets, spell kits, incense, etc and went on the road! I did psychic readings, workshops, presentations, and sold whatever merch I had all over the east coast to get my name out. When I wasn’t doing that I was creating content for my pages and YouTube channel, and building a website. I built a clientele of private clients that I still do readings, healings, and counseling sessions with all over the world. I go to Southwest Florida every month to see a group of clients there in person, and continue to travel across the country to do speaking engagements and workshops. The most important lesson I learned is this, if you are being true to your soul purpose and remain your authentic self, you will always be successful Never let the opinions of others or what you believe is expected of you keep you from doing what you are passionate about! Be unapologetically you and do it loudly! Your tribe will find you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Live music is always a part of everything I do. My dad and uncle are musicians and many of my friends, I’m a singer. If we are staying local, we are going to Asbury Park. I love the culture and vibe of Asbury, and the eclectic mix of accepting and creative people. Music is a huge part of Asbury’s history, home of The Stone Pony and Bruce Springsteen. I grew up in the music scene there and have met so many amazing people. Some of my best nights have been spent at Paradise, the best gay club in NJ and beyond, watching amazing drag performers or dancing all night with my friends. My best friend and I riding e bikes from E-Bike King, hanging at the Empress pool all day drinking Tito’s and ginger. Then we head to the boardwalk for Korean tacos from MOGO, check out at all the new art murals, go crystal shopping at Freedom Rocks. At night we are at the Stone Pony or Wonder Bar to catch a band so I can dance (music and dancing are how I raise my vibe and shake the stress away). I may have a couple more cocktails. End of the night it’s Kim Marie’s for the addicting mac and cheese or jalapeño wontons. I love a small walkable city, with mom and pop shops and good food and music. I also love warm so I spend a lot of time in the Naples, Florida area, checking out the car porn (huge car lover) on 5th avenue, and eating amazing food with a beautifully crafted elegant cocktail. Watch the sunset over the gulf from Lowdermilk Park, and I’m loving this new place in Bonita Springs, The Sugar Shack. Lots of live music and reggae nights, or sunset walks with my friend Patrick and his dog Bonnie (I like to pretend she’s mine, but I only get to claim her a few days a month).

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely!! The OG Babes of the Babe Cave Coven, which includes my mom, aunt, and other family plus my chosen family. I will never find the words to show the immense gratitude and love in my heart for each and every one of you. Your support of me and your genuine interest in spiritual growth is the only reason I am where I am today. Everything I do and everywhere I go, know that your energy comes with me. You are amazing high vibe witches and my soul sisters and brothers. I also have to shout out my beautiful and amazing kids, Gwyneth, Keira, and Sean, that have been so supportive and understanding of the sacrifices required in business. I love you all tons!
