We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Kronfli and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I grew up in an entrepreneurial family. My dad and his brother owned a business, Their dad and their uncles owned business. I was always around it, My parents always said, “Do things right the first time so you don’t have to do it again.” “Take pride in what do you.” “Nobody will ever hand anything to you, you need to work hard.” “Make a decision and execute it to the best of your ability.” My Mom introduced us to the beauty of food and hosting. She loved to cook large meals for her family and her friends, and we always hosted at our house. After working in a cubicle for 6 months after graduating from college, I quickly became the best person in the office to only make $28,000/year, that solidified it. I needed to work for myself, I needed to open my own business so that my hard work can go towards a brighter future for myself and my future family. I had done a lot of projects in college on bars and restaurants, given my background growing up, it was almost a no-brainer for me.

What should our readers know about your business?
We pride ourselves on being a step above with our service, our food and our drinks. It starts with our “family”. We push our employees to look at each as “family.” We, as owners, are personally invested in each and every employee we have. This, in the long run, will produce happier family members. Happy family members take pride in their work. Pride in the recipes, pride in the drinks, and proud to go over and above for our customers to ensure they have a stellar experience. We started with one location 13 years ago, and we are up to 5 now, working on opening two more this year. It certainly was not easy. I would label it as fun. Fun to challenge yourself to be better every day. Opening new locations, adding new family members, creating systems to maintain quality were all a fun challenge. Our brand is truly a family run organization. From the top Robert and I are brothers, and Chef Lior might as well be our brother. to the bottom. It’s a constant theme we push out to our teams constantly. Each restaurant is a family working together to make sure every customer leaves happy. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout to My brother and business partner Robert Kronfli and another shout out to my “brother” and business partner Chef Lior Hillel. Definitely could not have come this far without these two.
