We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Lomba and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
In my opinion, taking risks is directly correlated to personal growth. While I was enrolled in Law School I took a risk to start my own sports agency which led to multiple nights of joy and stress. I continue to take risks today as I invest both my time and resources relentlessly into EAMG Sports with no guaranteed return. However, one thing I can guarantee is that I would not be as close to reaching my goals, nor come so far, if I didn’t take risks everyday.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets myself and EAMG apart from others is that we take a wholistic approach towards development of our athletes and our staff.

What I am most excited about is the growth of our business and the lives we will have a chance to impact. We are currently in the process of recruiting our 2024 Pre-Draft Class which will be another opportunity for us to help young men transition into professional football players, making their dreams come true.

I got to where I am today by steady progression, day by day. Becoming an NFL Agent has not been an easy journey. Starting out, I had no connections and my first client was a D2 basketball player who barely touched the court (love that guy). Working with him I was able to secure a playing contract making nickles and dimes and it snowballed from there into arena football. As I progressed into working with better players I had to overcome rejection due to lack of experience, this only comes with time and is part of the building process.

If I could pull one lesson from my entrepreneurship journey it would be: Everything is hard, choose something and stick to it.

The reason I say that is because the agent industry, like every other, contains so many ups and downs. If at some point during your journey you feel like quitting, then you are on the right path.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I currently live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and love it here. Whenever I bring friends into town my itinerary typically includes showing them the downtown scene, visiting the beach and hopefully incorporating some aspect of football.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
EAMG Sports deserves my shoutout. Although, I am a member of EAMG Sports we are a team and a family. Throughout our journey we have seen multiple people come and go with some impactful teammates staying for the whole journey. Every person I have had a chance to teach and learn from has allowed me an opportunity to evolve as a professional.

EAMG Sports is much larger than myself and my partner Jake, we wouldn’t be here without our teammates, clients and mentors.
