We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Pablo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I think my creative output comes from the necessity of expressing things in a way that cant be translated entirely into mere words, It’s a search, a lifetime search of meaning, and a call to the adventure of life where you can show others something that might help them too to express what they cant.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Robbers is a music project that I started by the end of 2017 with my friend Michel, a wonderful human being. I compose most of the songs and then work them out with the band to create something beyond ourselves.

I think It has been a little bit more complicated than I thought It would be but also far more rewarding and fulfilling than I ever imagined. But I think that’s everything in life right? Everything has a proportional challenge according to the goal, the harder the path the more you enjoy the reward. Also, you are never alone, your friends will be there to help you and you got what you need to make those dreams come true. Be kind to them and take care of the people you love. They are the light on the darkest hours.

That’s what I can share with the people that get to read this, don’t be discouraged by the failures or obstacles, they are there to show you the path and teach you a lesson. Go ahead, be fearless. Life is nothing with fear. Fear kills dreams, and we are soldiers of love defending those dreams.

Robbers is a collection of thoughts and emotions and as with any piece of art it has taken some time to put those ideas in order and to make them crystal clear, and I think we are accomplishing this with our upcoming EP.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
LA has beautiful places, definitely Alamo Cinemas in Culver City, I love movies and that cinema has some of the best audio and picture quality in the world. There are also so many delicious french restaurants in LA that I could not only choose one but maybe one for each meal (Haha). As well a good concert in the Teragram Ballroom. A mandatory visit to Griffith Park and to the Hollywood Sign.

And to finish I think I would be honored to show the view from the Observatory. To see the whole city gives you a whole different perspective of LA.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I think I owe myself to every person that I’ve met through my life regardless of how much time I spent with them because I’ve learned from them one way or another. Also, of course, my family and my friends. They always have encouraged me regardless of my mistakes to keep going and never giving up.
