We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Elese and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Danielle, how does your business help the community?
At the heart of our mission lies a profound commitment to collective healing and accessibility. Through sound healing experiences and our innovative HILO platform, we’re revolutionizing how people access and experience wellness. Our approach combines ancient wisdom with modern technology, utilizing specific frequencies like 432-hertz crystal bowls and Himalayan singing bowls to address collective trauma and foster deep healing.

What makes our impact particularly meaningful is the ripple effect we witness in our community. From intimate private sessions where individuals experience breakthrough moments of presence, to our community events that regularly bring together 20-65 people in transformative group experiences, we’re creating spaces where healing becomes both accessible and profound. The launch of HILO has further amplified our reach, democratizing access to healing tools that were traditionally limited to in-person sessions. We’re grateful for our corporate wellness initiatives as well, where we’re helping reshape workplace culture through sound healing experiences.

The beauty of our work lies in its versatility – whether it’s a beachside sound bath, a sailing sound journey, or a digital meditation through HILO, we’re meeting people where they are on their healing journey. Our community has grown into a supportive ecosystem where individuals can explore self-growth and inner peace at their own pace, while feeling held in a collective space of transformation. At its core, our work is about more than just individual wellness – it’s about creating a ripple effect of healing that extends from the individual to the collective.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is deeply rooted in the transformative power of sound and frequency, but what truly sets my practice apart is my commitment to empowerment and embodiment. Through sound healing, I don’t position myself as ‘the healer’ – instead, I create sacred containers where individuals can access their own inner healing wisdom and reclaim agency in their lives and on their paths. Using 432-hertz crystal bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, and vocal toning, I facilitate immersive experiences that serve as catalysts for self-discovery and personal sovereignty. The magic happens when participants realize they hold the key to their own transformation – I’m simply providing the frequency and space for that remembrance to occur.

The journey to where I am today has been one of profound personal evolution. Like many practitioners, my path emerged from my own healing journey, processing c-PTSD and PTG (Post Traumatic Growth). This experience taught me the vital importance of embodiment – of fully inhabiting one’s own experience and honoring one’s own timeline for healing. Now, I guide others not by directing their journey, but by empowering them to trust their inner compass.

What I’m most proud of is witnessing individuals step into their power during our sessions. It is electric when you witness catalyst moments for another. Whether it’s in intimate private sound baths, my private practice or our community events that bring together dozens of seekers, each experience is designed to remind participants that they are the authors of their own healing story. Through HILO, our virtual wellness platform, we’ve expanded this mission of accessibility and self-directed healing, making these tools available to anyone ready to explore their own path.

The challenges along the way have been significant teachers, ‘inside out lessons’ one teacher lovingly called them. Building a healing arts business requires me to embody the very principles I share with others – trusting my intuition, claiming my power, integrity and honoring my unique expression. Every obstacle has reinforced my commitment to creating spaces where others can do the same. It has been a wild ride, no doubt!

What I want the world to know about my work is that it’s fundamentally about awakening the healer within each person. Through Foxy Sage and HILO, we’re not just offering sound healing experiences – we’re providing tools for self-discovery and personal sovereignty. Each session, whether private or group, is an invitation to step more fully into one’s own power and truth.

The most profound lesson I’ve learned is that true healing emerges when we empower individuals to be active participants in their healing journey. As a facilitator, I create safe containers and provide transformative tools while honoring each person’s innate wisdom and unique healing timeline. I embrace a Pluriversal perspective, recognizing that each soul carries their own divine truth and lived experience – like unique fractals, each reflecting light in their own resonant way. Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue expanding these empowerment-focused healing experiences, both through in-person sessions and our digital platform. Our mission remains steadfast: to create accessible pathways for individuals to claim their power, embody their truth, and own their healing journey.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Santa Barbara is heaven on earth, and I love sharing my favorite local gems. A perfect weekend here starts with a morning mountain hike followed by breakfast at either Dart Coffee Garden or Helena Avenue Bakery. We’d catch the last hours of the Saturday Farmers Market before heading to East Beach for some sun and relaxation. The day’s highlight would be a transformative Sunset Sound Healing sail with Sandala, followed by dinner at Gala.

Sunday begins with a peaceful sunrise walk at Douglas Preserve with Juice Ranch smoothies in hand. Later, we’d experience the mountain charm of Cold Springs Tavern’s live music, before returning to town for a restorative Hypnosis Sound Bath at Yoga Soup. The perfect end to the weekend? Sunset dinner with ocean views at El Encanto or Miramar Resort.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout goes to the incredible mentors who’ve shaped my path in sound healing and holistic wellness, with a special recognition to Ra’kaiel Webb, whose guidance has been transformative. Ra’kaiel has influenced the frequency in which I move through the world and shaped the lens in which I love the world with the purity of her compassion. The journey of becoming an Alternative Healing practitioner has been deeply enriched by those who’ve shared their fractals of wisdom with me along the way. Through their teachings, I’ve learned to harness the healing power alternative tools that now allow me to create transformative experiences for others. What’s particularly beautiful about this journey is how these teachings have rippled out – from intimate private sessions to our community events that regularly bring together dozens of people seeking healing and connection. I’m profoundly grateful for the lineage of healers who’ve passed down these ancient practices and shown me how to integrate them with modern approaches to wellness. Their influence has helped shape not just my professional practice, but my entire approach to creating safe spaces where others can connect with their inner healer and align with their unique purpose.
