Meet Danny Royce | Actor, Host & CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Danny Royce and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danny, what do you attribute your success to?
Everything that I do revolves around inspiring, motivating, and excelling others. So, the most important factor behind my brand is SERVICE. I believe we were all put on this Earth to be of service to one another. There lies the true reward.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is an extension of me. It’s encompasses everything I’ve been through. I’ve had a lot of tragedy in my life. When I changed my mindset to believe that life is happening for me and not to me, my life changed. It was not easy at all getting to where I am today. I am here by the grace of God and the support of friends and family. For one to say they made it by themselves is a big lie. Faith is very important to me. Believing that everything will work out in my favor is crucial to my success and development. I’ve learned many lessons along the way that mad me a better man. You must set specific goals. If you don’t know where you want to go, how will you get there? Focus on one thing at a time. You can’t drive your car while in multiple gears. I write spoken word and poems. I also write music and play piano. Learning the guitar to further my music career. I have two films that are on Amazon Prime. Nowhere, Alaska and The Cry. I am currently working on a Pilot for HBO, a feature film, and two series. As well as my first short film I wrote and produced called Hope. I want people to know my brand is all about motivating, inspiring, and being your best self! #WHYWAIT
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d have to go to all of my favorite vegan restaurants. Sage, Doomies, Lotus Vegan, Urth Cafe, and Elderberries. We would have to go to the beaches because I love the water. My favorite beaches are Malibu, Venice, and Laguna. We’d have to see the view from Mulholland Drive. Go for hikes at Fryman and Stough canyon. Do Yoga on the cliff. Also, take a trip to San Diego and get the best donuts in the world at Donut Bar.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give a shout out to my family for always supporting me in everything that I do. They are my backbone. We laugh, we cry, we have an amazing connection because we value family! I’d also like to give a shout out to my second grade teacher Ilona Roberts, for being the first person to ever tell me to fly like the eagle I am. She saw something in me before I did! I read a lot and there are too many books to name, but I am a huge fan of The Universe Has Your Back: Transform Fear to Faith by Gabrielle Berstein.
