We had the good fortune of connecting with Darius Gary and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Darius Gary, how does your business help the community?
My business helps create other opportunities for upcoming creators and models. Whether they are based locally within the community or across the country where we have traveled to work with other artists like ourselves.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Everyone has a clothing brand but I think what sets mine apart from others is that it’s built off the communities input. I love to get feedback while I’m creating content and showing them what we’re working on at the time . Which allows them to pick what I do and don’t release. Getting here was not easy at all and I’m honestly not where I want to be. But we learned to appreciate the smalls wins that will continue to help us grow.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Atlanta has so many things to offer, that you could barely scratch the surface in a weekend let alone a week. Say you’re here for a weekend, we would definitely eat at my favorite wing spot HungryAf followed by drinks at any bar location. Would have to go to Midtown bowling they have good food and drinks . A good club to go to would be revel opium or babas that’s the top 3 in my opinion. Typically my friends will go clubbing and out so I’m more of an introvert and will hiking at Stone Mountain or somewhere at piedmont park.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would first like to thank God for everything and secondly my mom for always supporting me. Would like to thank Nice, Lizz, Sue, Michelle, Demar and countless others for keeping this dream alive even when I didn’t see it myself.
