Meet Jeanieva Jaime | Founder of The Tales From the Stripped Method® | Somatic Movement & Pole Flow Guide

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeanieva Jaime and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeanieva, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
For me, success is living a life rooted in joy. I measure it by how my clients feel—when they leave a session or class, do they feel more joyful, more at ease, and more connected to themselves?
Success is the love, respect, and meaningful connections I build within my community, and living a life I can feel proud of.
It’s not about how much money I make or the accolades I receive, but about how many lives I’ve positively impacted. I could have one person show up to a class, but if she leaves feeling better than when she arrived, that is success.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets my business apart is that I’ve created a boutique studio experience that’s not your typical pole or yoga class. My work incorporates somatic, body-based healing in a way that is trauma-sensitive, intentional, and deeply supportive.
I keep my classes small on purpose, so each person feels seen, cared for, and supported. Clients often tell me they love how it feels in the space. I’ve been very intentional with the design and imagery, creating an environment that feels warm, inviting, and even speaks to the inner child.
I focus on women—especially those navigating chronic illness, life transitions, or who don’t feel at home in traditional fitness spaces. My classes and my signature movement method are easeful, joyful, and intentional.
I created this work from my own lived experience and what I personally needed, trusting that there were other women out there who needed it too.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit me, we’d start the morning at my studio—when the sunlight is gently streaming through. Whether it’s a private session or a class, my space feels like a hidden pink gem, just for us.
Afterward, we’d take a short stroll into historic downtown Covina and grab coffee, tea, or a sweet treat from one of the many local spots. From there, we’d wander into The Book Shop, a rare bookstore on Citrus Avenue, and maybe pop into an antique shop or two—just exploring little treasures along the way.
We’d stop for a savory bite at one of Covina’s cozy restaurants, take photos in front of the murals, and then head to Beauty Bar Nail Spa for a little self-care moment. After that, we’d take a walk through Covina Park—everything within walking distance from my studio.
The whole day would feel slow, supportive, girly, and healing—just like the energy of what I do.
In the evening, we’d have dinner and wine at Rosalie or Pane e Vino, catch a show at the Laugh Factory, and end the night dancing at Tres Vinos or the local and legendary Rude Dog’s—divey, vibey, and with a DJ that’s always on point.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to give a shoutout to so many people and parts of my journey that have supported me and guided me along the way.
To my clients—thank you for trusting me, for showing up, and for allowing me to hold space for you, especially women who have trusted me with their stories and their bodies. You’ve been such an important part of my growth and purpose.
To the friends and loved ones who have supported me, encouraged me, and given me grace during some of my hardest seasons—your presence has meant everything.
To my medical team, who helped carry me through some of my most challenging health experiences—I’m deeply grateful for the care and support I received during those times.
And to my inner child—the part of me that always believed in love, connection, and helping others. She continues to inspire so much of what I do today.
I truly believe none of us do this alone, and I’m so grateful for everyone who has been part of my story.
