We had the good fortune of connecting with David Sesena and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Initially my thought process was to put together a group of small business to showcase and or sell their products to the the community in an outdoor setting. Brining the community together to support each other.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Starting a business has been a big learning experience. From how to start it to to how to continue to grow it and everything in between. All the years of working in the event business and networking has helped ease me in to growing the event. One of the hardest things has been knowing when to be business professionally / friendly and separating both. Sometimes people that you know for years feel that you should give them more than other you just met. So as I have been in business I have learned how to make sure to keep things as fair as possible and treat everyone fairly and professionally. The thing that my small business does is that we are helping other small businesses grow as we grow with them and create a family community for vendors.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had someone visiting me her in California it would be a fun time. I would for sure make sure we visit the beaches in southern California. We have some of the best in the country and a variety of sceneries to check out. for lunch or dinner we have a vast selection and some of the best places like Javier’s which is my favorite Mexican restaurant. We would also check the amazing events or pop ups on the weekends that support small business. These are the new incubators of business growth.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
As many small business have and create a support system of family and friends. I would love to shoutout my girlfriend Alejandra Garcia and my brother Tommy Zecena who gave me the initial financial support which helped launch my company.
