Hi Denicia, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Ive always loved fashion, and my friends would ask me to help them find outfits.
I lived that they looked my style!
When I became a personal assistant to Cathy Moriarty, I was so excited! We were going to film on location, I had to have something they was going to be great! I didn’t have any luggage and I didn’t like what was out there. I designed a very simple denim travel bag and had to find a seamstress rather quickly. I walked the fashion district in DTLA and asked questions.
I found a women who brought my simple design to life and that’s where it all began!

My bags are very simple. My accessories are very simple I believe in simplicity. I think simplicity is sexy.

It’s been a long process to get where I am today but I couldn’t be any more proud of myself. I thank God for the guidance and the lessons I have learned along the way.

It has not been an easy process but it’s my process.

I want the world to know that I am a California beach girl. I grew up in Venice, California. California casual!

As for the world… I’m a native American Mexican American women making it! I love and am so excited for everyone to wear my brand!

I took a risk and have put everything I have into my business and couldn’t be anymore excited!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite spot in the city probably would be along the coast PCH. It’s a beautiful drive. The Marina del Rey playa del Rey Venice Santa Monica Malibu up to Santa Barbara. Just great places to visit and see.

As for eating, having lunch in playa del Rey at hacienda del Rey is my favorite Mexican restaurant!

Show them Venice Pier where I spent most of my Summers down the ABC streets which is in the marina take him to The cheesecake factory. It’s been there forever!

Down the coast to show them Patrick’s Roadhouse. It’s a great place to see. You have to see this spot. It’s a must!
A good friend of mine Tracy and her family own this restaurant. It’s been there for a very very long time and it’s a great place to visit in the summer. Sit outside have some iced tea. My favorite is the banana cream pie 100% homemade!

Continue up the coast into Malibu show them all the great spots the shopping. The little town is just so great.

And then go into the City and go into Beverly Hills and have dinner at Cafe Roma, you never know who you’ll see on Cannon!

And stop in for a NY slice at the famous Mulberry Street pizzeria! (Across the street from Cafe Roma).
