We had the good fortune of connecting with Devon Moody-Graham and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Devon, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
In the world of adulting, raising a family, and walking in purpose there is no true 50/50 and I’m a Libra lol. However, being able to do well in multiple areas of your life is very possible. I’m just starting to intentionally practice this as I’m getting wiser and listening to my body, my heart, and my calling. I used to do very well professionally and in business, but my health and mental wellness were not the best at all. I thought that I couldn’t really have both or that my career would suffer if I wasn’t always burning the midnight oil. I was so wrong. This isn’t the lifestyle I want to show my children.

It wasn’t until the pandemic started, like billions of others, I was forced to deal with ME, no distractions or excuses.
I relearned who I was and who I am becoming. I cried a lot, I wrote a lot, I gave myself and others more grace. I started to put Me on my calendar and cared for myself inside and out just as I do my family and friends, but better. I stopped hearing ” You can sleep when you’re dead”, ” Grind mode”, “Beast Mode”, this was no longer going to be my life. I prefer Peace and Prosperity.
The more you take care of your needs first, the better your life will be, no questions about it.

I operate in a place of gratitude to be able to raise my children, be a present and impactful part of their lives while simultaneously following my dreams and accomplishing my goals. I truly believe that people can do great in many areas, have hobbies, raise families, travel the world if they choose to, and be internally happy.

In my work as a business strategist I am dedicated to help people create a successful business while enjoying the fruits of their labor unapologetically.
This is why as I walk into year 14 of being a business owner I am introducing Launch for Your Life Academy, the ultimate community for people that want to build a sustainable business and live a healthy lifestyle

It is our job to teach people how to treat us. If we treat ourselves like we are last on the list so will others. Now there is a fine line between arrogance and confidence, operate in the latter and you will go far. It’s ok to know that when you operate in a state of gratitude there is no limit to your life’s happiness.

What should our readers know about your business?
My experience and partnerships have brought over $4M in capital to small businesses. I created a community for mothers that aspire to start businesses and develop professionally. I have worked with over 1000+ businesses and 15,000 youth and young adults in entrepreneurship and professional training over the last 14 years to bring awareness to the feasibility of wealth building. I have served on a select White House committee on technology and entrepreneurial resource access. In 2018, I  was selected to represent the state of Missouri in the SCORE and Sam’s Club America’s Small Business Championship competition with her business and social development group CEOMom.

My strategic approach to guiding clients and has a vast network of connections that takes both small business and corporate clients to the next levels of innovation and revenue generation. My current focus is on Startup Sustainability with her R3 Method focusing on Relationships, Resources, and Revenue.

I assist businesses with getting ready for capital and various funding opportunities by first leveraging mutually beneficial relationships. My goal is to create business foundations that can withstand economic, and trend shifts for business owners.
My talents took her to Paris, France in 2019 to branch her mom community to other areas of the world and inspire people that have challenges or doubts about their purpose to move through the fear.

I am building a pipeline for minority business owners to connect to international trading resources, funding, and opportunities. My goal is to increase business opportunities and wealth creation for underserved communities. This is my passion to help as many people as possible to create generational wealth for their families, this is a true measure of success.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I wouldn’t be able to do the things that do without my amazing village they know who they are and people that are rooting from me all around the world. My Tribe is absolutely amazing. I have built my business on organic friendships and mutually beneficial relationships.
