We had the good fortune of connecting with Diana Carter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diana, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?

Making the Impossible. Possible This is a very powerful quote. It reminds you that everything is possible in life. That there is not such thing as an impossible. It is also a reminder of what do you need to do or know to make anything possible. It is a quote that elevates your spirit while making you think of the courses of actions you must put in place to be successful.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
What set me apart from others ? My Can do attitude. Only have one plan, there is not sich thing as a plan B or C. Learning and growing intellectually is a most, therefore I invests a lot in myself. I do a lot of research and ask questions, that’s is the only way you to go.

How did I got here ? Working hard 24/7 day in and day out and becoming more knowledgeable on new areas that are a most to be competitive. Follow my heart , staying positive, reading a lot … knowledge is power, you must be able to speak the same language to the person in front of you. Take very day as it is day one …

Was it easy? Not at all… I have no time for fun… my time is set to learn and keep growing. Many times have to make hard decisions & make sacrifices especially when it comes to personal time availability. Also you always meet the negative people , the ones that think you are not capable or that you are wearing to many hats. Moreover, sadly stereotypes still in place … on what a female can do and can’t as well as being a minority some people has put in doubt my capacity to get the job done based on the physical attributes. That is something that automatically changes when I speak up, but shouldn’t be that way.

Lessons learned- wow too many 1- Dont take anything personal 2- must have tough skin 3- be you worst competition 4- don’t worry about who is doing what , it is a distraction 5- live what you do and do what you love What do I want the world to know about me, brand and story? We don’t fail, we don’t believe on such thing. We will give you our 200% but you have to let us do our job. We will make it happen…

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Favorite spots in the City The walk of the stars- everything started there … it is a symbol everything is possible with hard work and determination

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Rich Daddy , Poor Daddy by Robert Kyosaki – a book that teach you the importance of having and entrepreneurial mentality and the difference that such will bring to your life The Art of War by Sun Tzu – one of my favorite quotes is “Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is enlightenment.” … this is a book that shows you what a leader is, how to think strategically in everything you do. You can’t get better if you don’t know yourself, you can’t move forward if you can’t recognize your own weaknesses so you can’t turn those into strengths My children Akyra & Toby – they are my #1 supporters. Because of them and their desire to be actors , I got involved in the entertainment industry. See them doing what they do and love it is my motivation to keep pushing forward day in and day out.
