Hi Digiannia, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Any time you are chasing your dreams you are taking a leap of faith. Therefore I am living my dreams but taking a risk on my future every single day. They say nothing grows from being comfortable you have to push yourself to reach success. Though it is scary at times I would not change it for a thing. Success is not taught is learned & I am learning as I go. Every mistake I have made has moved me closer to my goal, because my hard work is beginning to show itself my song is playing on the radio I have over 2million views on youtube. I see my efforts showing & with every mistake I get stronger & stronger.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I believe the passion & love I pour into all of my projects is what sets me apart. I am proud of letting go of fear is the biggest enemy. You are the protagonist of your life & no-one but you can stop you from achieving your wildest dreams. When you are chasing your dreams you have to be persistent & consistent & understand that the journey is not supposed to be easy, what I have realized is that the things that you are going to encounter on your journey are no there to stop you but to challenge you to see how badly you really want it.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
LA is truly breathtaking I have learned to love so many aspects of it.
I would start with a morning hike to Runyon on Monday
Pool day in the Hills on Tuesday
Woman Crush Workout on Wednesday at my favorite gym TheMethod DTLA with Nadege
Studio night on Thursday at Shakura Studios with JUNK
Dinner on Friday at Mr Chows or Crustacean Beverly Hills
Drinks by the pool at Soho Warehouse & birria tacos in the evening from the food truck near by.
Sunday Farmes Market & Sunset dinner at Malibu Farm or Nobu Malibu
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mother, she sacrificed her life moving to a unknown environment not speaking the language to provide a better future for me. She moved from Colombia to America in the hopes of a better life. Because of that I have been able to live the life today. Speaking two languages, earning a full ride to a private University graduating with a degree in Broadcasting Journalism & being able to live in a city like Los Angeles where I am currently pursuing my dreams of becoming a global artist. To this day she supports me & pours all her love creativity & passion into me. Although my mother is not physically strong she is the strongest person I know. Her strength has inspired me to chase every single dream & desire that I want out of life & because of her I am who I am now. Te amo mami.
