Meet Dominik Tabacek | Model / Actor / Hybrid Athlete

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dominik Tabacek and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dominik, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
It is difficult to mark which decisions in my life can be considered the most important, because I had to make several important decisions in my life. As I am originally from Europe and more specifically from the small but very safe and beautiful state of Slovakia. Because of that, one of the most important decisions in my life happened after school when I decided to leave my loved ones and go into unknown waters. Simply put, I accepted the risk and fear of the unknown and stepped out of my comfort zone, which opened up new opportunities for me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I definitely stand out among the artists in my industry with my unusual look, which is already adorned by many tattoos today, which are not common or highly sought after in this environment. However, as the saying goes, “don’t judge a book by its cover”. Although my tattoos may create certain impressions, I have many interesting aspects that have not yet been discovered. I’ll start from where I started and how I’ve spent most of my life. Although I didn’t start out as a model or actor, I have a wealth of experience in management, business and law studies at a European university. During this period I actively developed my language skills and knowledge. I am currently fluent in five languages, which gives me a significant competitive advantage. I successfully applied these skills while managing various successful projects. In addition, my private life has been active and rich in sporting achievements from swimming and football to combat sports and demanding hiking expeditions. A passion for achieving difficult and complex goals has led me to become an actor and model, even though tattoos on my body have been an obstacle in the past. Despite the setbacks, I did not give up and found my place in the world of modeling and acting. I have now combined all my experience helping for existing or new brands and individuals with marketing. I traveling the world and never giving up on my goals. If I ever decide to go, I will set a high goal.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would definitely visit iconic places like – GRIFFIT OBSERVATORY
* HOLLYWOOD INSCRIPTION
* BEVERLY HILLS and Rodeo Drive
* HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME
* GRAND CENTRAL MARKET
* SANTA MONICA PIER
* Venice Beach

And other places around like El matador Beach in Malibu

Or coastal parts of orange county: Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach.

Since we are all lovers of Vietnamese Pho soup, we would definitely visit Pho Holic

Or we’d go to the Rusty Pelican for dinner.

Certainly, in my case, I would also be in favor of a longer trip such as Las Vegas, San Francisco or national parks near the Sequoia or Josue Tree

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Of course, it is my family that supports me in all circumstances and tries to be a good listener and advisor. If it came to books, an integral part would be the book Atoine de Saint – Exupéry – the little prince or Napoleon Hill Think and get rich.
