We had the good fortune of connecting with Dominique Aumua and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dominique, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to build financial freedom but also a legacy within my family to know nothing is impossible without God. That anyone can build something from ground up if you’re willing to put in the work.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am in the loss prevention field. I am the person that tries to stop theft in the retail industry. I can honestly say I am just proud being able to have a job that helps become the solution as much as possible. There’s days where it’s not as easy or slow but when I do have those days. I definitely embrace them. Overcoming the hard days in my career is knowing not everyone we will catch but eventually we will. Puts me in a mindset it’s okay, there is always a next time. Lessons I’ve learned along the way in my career that people will be people, you take the initiative on what you can control. Everything else give it to God. What would I want to share with the world? That one day Christ is coming back for His bride. Have you been utilizing your TwentyFou hours within a day to elevate your walk with Him? If not, what’s stopping you?

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Honestly I would take them to a place we both never been too. Then try what’s the best restaurants and check out the highlight places to look into. If the place we go to, has outdoor activities. Definitely would try sky diving, anything in the sky. Dirt bike riding has been on my bucket list of things and renting a whole plane.

Interesting things I would try with my bestfriend would find the which areas have the polar express available and go check out the scenery and experience.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to shoutout to Jesus Christ for showing me unconditional love to allow me to make it right before Him. I would love to thank my parents for showcasing Christ’s love in the midst of my difficulties. Building a brand from scratch is hard and a lot of work. Yet, the building is still is in the works but thankful throughout the years of building TwentyFou it shows me Gods grace in the steps of how to steward things properly and pleasing to God. That whatever I am given, it’s my responsibility to steward it all well. Far from perfection but I serve a God that allows me to trust the process in Him and with Him.
