We had the good fortune of connecting with Doron Morgan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Doron, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
You don’t .
It’s not like in the movies where in your hour of greatest need , you unlock some hidden untapped power , instantly overcoming your struggle and winning in the end .
In the real world life is complicated, we endure trails and tribulations for which their is no inherent right or wrong answer . To keep going or to give up is entirely perspective based ; in the storm of life you chose in the most binary of ways to either focus on the thunder and lighting , or the sun hidden behind the clouds . Focus on the distractions or focus on the beauty in the struggle . Both are correct and both depend entirely on your perspective .
In order to keep going one must first know the reason behind their perseverance , that creates a perspective in which an action follows . In order ‘to give up’ one must not ask themselves , how bad they want it (for the mere fact that they were trying answers that question ) but is it worth it . Is it worth the depression? The sleepless night , the waves of anxiety induced thoughts ? Is it worth disrupting your norm ? Or changing who you are ?
In this world riddled of paradox’s baptized in enigmas , I’ve come to realize that we never know , but we always do .
We simply must look within ourselves , and have some needed self reflection. Once we look through our kaleidoscope of humanity we equip ourselves with more perspective to know if it’s time to quit or time to try harder .
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

My favorite spot to go is tied between LACMA and the Grifth Park Zoo!!!! The Zoo was shut down for animal cruelty a while back now it’s a hot bed for graffiti/street art and it’s just so peaceful out there ! The setting is perfect for photographers/Videographers to pick up their camera and shoot !
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to shoutout the artist I manage Tito Rey, my sisters Anissa and Yolanda Morgan and my best friend Keane Squeri for always believing in me !
