We had the good fortune of connecting with Dovi Plattner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dovi, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
To think outisde the box. In my industry, there are many brokers. To be able to succeed in this business, I found that a creative, dedicated and driven mindset is the best combination for success.
What should our readers know about your business?
I have been in the insurance business for over 30 years. I specialize in group medical and benefits solutions throughout the US. My client list includes a variety of businesses, each with its own set of unique insurance needs. One of my passions in this industry is the problem-saving process. Often times, businesses face obstacles and problems that require creativity and expertise to solve. I work diligently with the client to ensure that I can provide them with a customized package of benefits that fits their unique needs. I try to provide my clients with the best possible service. I am extremely dedicated to my clients. I am available to them 24/7/365 and they all know that I will do everything I can for them. While most of my clients are in California, I am also licensed in other states across the country.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We love showing people the different areas in LA. Some of those places include Hollywood, BeverlyHills, Santa Monica, Malibu, and many more. LA, being so large in size, is difficult to show in just 1 week. We would take them to Malibu and enjoy the beautiful views and beaches during the day. We would then jump over to Nobu before the sunset. Enjoying a delicious meal next to the ocean is so enjoyable. We also enjoy going to basketball games at Staples Center. I always try to take any of my friends who are visiting to watch a Laker game. There are so many beautiful hiking trails in LA as well and we try to get our exercise outside as much as we can. Venice beach on a Sunday is also a must for visitors. We used to go as a family pretty frequently. You’ll run into a ton of different characters in Venice and will definitely have a unique experience.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my amazing wife, Ziva. She has been the most supportive partner in this journey of life.
