Meet EASAE | Singer – Songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with EASAE and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi EASAE, how do you think about risk?
Risk is the willingness to potentially feel uncomfortable crossing to where you’re headed. Sometimes you land opposite of where you originally thought you would. I think we associate risk with negative connotations such as, failure, danger or threat but I think it is simply getting out of your comfort zone. Risk makes life more exciting in my opinion!
Pursuing music is a risk but so is everything. Music just happens to be a highly oversaturated market with an unclear blueprint,
Risk has taught me lessons, given me opportunities and overall helped me grow in ways I do not believe I would have otherwise.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
One thing I have learned about myself as an artist, is that I primarily sing from emotion and my “gut”. Both lyrically and melodically I tend to let the emotion speak before the logistics of the music. I do what feels good with my voice and mind.
I am not where I want to be, but am going where I need to.
Perseverance has been the number one driving factor for me. A lot of roadblocks throughout the years have made me question a lot of things. For some reason I have not fully stopped and I pretty much know it’s not in me to do so. Not sure where the fire under me came from but I am forever grateful for the innate push within me to keep going.
I guess I want the world to receive the cathartic nature and power of music the same way I have. I hope my tunes send you to a place you have never felt before.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
. answering as if there is an unlimited budget.

something low-key like that!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My friends and family have always played a large role in continuing the pursuit, which I am very grateful for. I have always adored music in all forms from the simplistic songwriting of Ingrid Michaelson to the powerhouse of Stevie Nicks to the business side of Clive Davis. The trajectory of certain success stories. within the art of music, has always fascinated me and inspired me to keep going.
