We had the good fortune of connecting with Eddie Zaratsian and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I believe success is the result of talent meeting opportunity. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of creating breathtaking environments for hundreds of clients—experiences that will remain cherished in their memories, as well as my own. However, one of my proudest achievements remains my partnership with Restoration Hardware. After nearly 30 years in the industry, this opportunity didn’t come easily. It was the culmination of countless hours of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice that set me apart.

This collaboration allowed me to connect with my clients on a deeper, more personal level—not just as a designer crafting spaces for social gatherings, but as a creator shaping a lifestyle. This experience ignited a renewed passion within me, which led to the expansion of my business into e-commerce. Through EZLD.co, I am excited to curate timeless pieces for different seasons and occasions, bringing beautiful additions to people’s homes in a whole new way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d want to give them a taste of both the ultra-chic and some of my favorite hidden gems. We’d start with an iconic LA experience at places like Sunset Tower or Chateau Marmont—classic, luxurious spots that define the city’s glamour. I’d also take them to one of the Soho House locations in LA, probably the West Hollywood one, since its menu offers some of my all-time favorite dishes. No trip to LA would be complete without seeing the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the famous sign, so that would definitely make the list. And, of course, I’d make sure we visit the stunning beaches of Southern California—there’s no better way to soak in the true essence of LA.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Steve Hand for believing in me before I did and giving me my first opportunity to create.
