We had the good fortune of connecting with Elen Gasparyan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Elen, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind our success at Davel Creative Agency is our ability to envision the future and swiftly adapt to it. With a forward-thinking mindset, we proactively anticipate changes that could potentially impact our agency in two or three years. This preparation allows us to stay ahead of the curve and be ready to embrace new challenges and opportunities. Additionally, the emphasis on understanding things quickly empowers us to grasp emerging trends, technologies, and client needs promptly, enabling us to deliver innovative and relevant solutions that meet the demands of a dynamic market. Our adaptability and agility have been key drivers in achieving and sustaining our success as a creative agency.
What should our readers know about your business?
As co-founders of Davel, we faced a challenging journey right from the start. Without any financial assistance or inheritance, we relied solely on our saved salaries from working at HSBC to establish the business. Along the way, we encountered several struggles that tested our resilience.
One significant obstacle was the COVID-19 pandemic, which not only impacted our team’s morale but also had a profound effect on many of our clients’ businesses. Additionally, in the same year, our branch in Armenia was affected by a war, adding further complexity to our situation. Despite these daunting difficulties, we remained determined and persevered.
However, amidst these challenges, we found opportunities to learn and grow. With a positive outlook, we observed that our clients’ demands shifted towards digital services due to the pandemic. Embracing this change, we adapted our offerings and found new avenues for Davel to expand and thrive.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In my story, there are several individuals and entities that deserve credit and recognition for contributing to my journey. Firstly, HSBC played a crucial role in shaping my background in sales, which has proven to be immensely valuable in my career. Working in sales provided me with a solid foundation and insights into the intricacies of marketing, making me well-equipped to excel in this field.
Moreover, the mentors at HSBC, particularly those from the UK, played a significant role in my personal and professional growth. Their guidance, knowledge, and experience have been instrumental in shaping my understanding of the industry and honing my skills.
