We had the good fortune of connecting with Elena Cataraga and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elena, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
I think what helps me succeed, specifically in this industry is staying true to myself and my beliefs. Working hard, no matter where I am.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a musician. I sing in and write for the band Infected Rain. From the very first show in 2008 I knew that singing makes me very happy and I promise to myself to do this for as long as I physically can. Making this promise to myself helped me a lot throughout this journey all this years. I knew that it may not be easy And I also knew that no one else will believe in me if I won’t believe in myself and work hard for my dream. Throughout my careers, the musician I’ve had a lot of doubts and moments where I felt so lost however, every single time I remind myself about the therapy and the fulfillment that music gives me. On this path, I learned a lot and I know there’s still a lot. I need to learn, however I want people to know and remember the band and its musicians for their sincerity and hard work.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend visits me for the first time I would proudly show them around. Specifically, I would take them to explore nature In this unique area. I would want to show them both the mountains in the green that is only an hour away from me and the desert with its mesmerizing rocks that surrounds my city. I would take them to my favorite Vegan restaurants And also cook some delicious meals for them myself.
There are many places to visit here, but besides the nature, I think my next favorite ones are the great shows that are happening in the city

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shout out to the band Infected Rain, that believed in me from the start and encouraged me to be myself. Also, my vocal teacher, Melissa Cross that not only taught me everything I know, but also constantly believed Enemy and encouraged me to believe in myself.
