We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittney Boyce and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittney, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I always wanted to do something that I would love for work. Something that I could always enjoy. I have an eye for detail and I wanted to use that for my nail art.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m so excited to be launching my brand NAILS OF LA this November. I’ve learned so much these last 7 years working as a Nail Artist in LA. I’ve been very lucky to be where I am today. My success in this industry has not came easy. I’ve worked 16 hour days 6 days a week for 5+ years but it just goes to show you that hard work and dedication really does pay off. I want people to know the face behind my brand. NAILS OF LA will always stay true to who I am and my style. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this new journey.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite place is anywhere on the coast. I love the beach!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have been very lucky to have such an amazing mentor over these last 3 years. A few years ago I did not have the confidence or the knowledge that I do today. I would like to give a shout-out to my amazing friend and mentor Colleen Foxworthy for always keeping me moving forward in the right direction.
